Royboy
this thread reminds me of the classic "open mic" scene. Everyone goes to support local musicians right? Wrong. Everyone who goes is waiting for their turn on stage. While you wait for your turn you think to yourself how dreadful these acts are... what you fail to see is that they tend to think the same thing about your act Childishness aside my biggest qualm with "What bands songs can you play" is generally people tend to pull a half-assed tab form the internet and learn half a riff and call it a day. Learning a song goes well beyond notes and rhythm. Take Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, each song is simple and only has a few chords, yet very rarely do I see anyone do Floyd justice. I know every note on the piano, and every chord, therefore I can play any song by any band ever right? Well not quite. That being said, I know moar muze than u!!

admat97
I just started bass lessons in April and can play all of Muscle Museum so far. I'm learning Hyper Music which is pretty difficult for me. I'm having trouble with 16th notes (my pinky is not lifting quickly enough). Also, I am learning Uno. I've always wanted to learn bass and am a (very) late starter.
