Oy
BH&R is mostly stadium rock. I really don't think it would suit the small venue setting. Take a bow, Hoodoo and Invincible would all be pretty cringe. Obviously it would be a cool set for the reasons of getting a load of rarities but I'd honestly prefer a Zepp style mosh if I managed to go to one of these surprise club gigs. Jobby
Yeah, I don't really get that complaint. They've played plenty of songs that could be classed as 'stadium rock' in small venues that've come off brilliantly. If anything, I'd say Hoodoo would actually work better in a smaller venue than it does in a stadium. Anyway, even if something does happen tomorrow, I massively doubt they'll bother bringing a piano so the BH&R dream will most likely continue to be just that </3 Edit: If it did though then hfs I can't even imagine what that'd do to my sanity. I'd freak out enough if I knew it was gonna happen beforehand, let alone if it was a surprise on the day. Edited October 30, 2016 by Jobby
Oy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBFaIJKVWCg Yeah, so cringe. eh, that's kind of cool I guess. Great sound quality on the recording and Matt's voice sounds fantastic but I do think it looks a little awkward in Shepherd's Bush. I did like Take a Bow when I saw it at Wembley, but in general I find it one step too far with the melodrama.
Jobby
but I do think it looks a little awkward in Shepherd's Bush. Part of that might be down to the fact that BH&R had only just come out at the time tbf, so hardly anyone in the crowd knew the songs or how to respond to them. Nowadays, at a surprise gig that'd presumably be mostly full of hardcores, I imagine they'd all go down a lot better and feel more natural. Finn.
it looks a little awkward in Shepherd's Bush. I did like Take a Bow when I saw it at Wembley, but in general I find it one step too far with the melodrama. There is not such thing as melodrama, when corrupt leaders bring the apocalypse and the end of the world as we know, it'll reach everyone, not only the people at the stadiums, but those in small venues and houses, too. #Death So i say it works.
