That's a pretty decent setlist imo. I really laughed at Micro Cuts intro + Soldiers Poem, though. :D

Yeah I was quite pleased with that transition, I think it is honestly the worst tease muse could ever do

Oh and by the way the three songs I would get excited for are dead star, muscle museum and can't take my eyes off of your. They are only there to make the songs following them seem even worse

Isolated System into New Born is naff. Buildup into buildup. Explorers, what? Dat Supremacy placement. That first encore.

Shit.

Just a really, really boring setlist. Not obviously awful to a casual fan.

Panic Station

Interlude

Hysteria

New Born (2012 arena version/speed)

Follow Me

Blackout (Chris on guitar)

Guiding Light (2013 stadium version)

Madness (Matt in falsetto for "I need to love")

Undisclosed Desires

Plug in Baby

Stockholm Syndrome (1 riff?)

Knights of Cydonia

I fail to see how the band who wrote Stockholm Syndrome, Knights of Cydonia and Survival has to close with Starlight or Hyper Chondriac Music.

Not every closer has to be a bombastic rocker. And lol, putting Starlight and HCM on the same level.

What Fabri said. Hyper Chondriac Music would be a brilliant closer in a more intimate venue (academy, theatre, club), perfect as a single encore.

Well that's the idea. Radiohead ended most of their TKOL gigs with EEIRP, with Ed messing with pedals and effects. It worked great.

It was actually hearing How To Disappear... as a closer (in their Japan video I believe) that made me think HCM would be a good closer. But similar to previous points I don't think it would work well in larger venues.

My problem with HCM is i probably enjoy more other songs, i rather see live Glorious or Futurism than HCM.

The encores with the 90% of the bands are all staged, hence they are not exciting if you know a bit about the show. Ending with a random song isn't bad at all, but for a staged setlist i prefer a bombastic ending.

It will be great if Muse truly end with a random song because they feel they want to play another bonus song, no matter if it ruins the fllow or is a shitty closer, it will be a bonus song after all no one expected.

After playing Knights/Survival/New Bombastic Closer the band reurns and say: eh! we wanted to play this : Fury / Glorious / Eternally Missed....
