Livs
The statement about Kate has been retracted from the press with an apology- so either it wasn't true or she wasn't happy that it looked like she was injuring someone on purpose. If it was true, all the artists there were S&M performers and do that kind of thing day in day out. http://www.entertainmentwise.com/news/115998/Kate-Hudson-Stubs-Out-Cigar-On-Womans-Tongue-At-Muse-Gig-Afterparty Edit: oops didn't see someone had already posted this! Even though the people were "performance artists," if actions were true or not, they could be detrimental to her image. It's still all very fetish and dark. Maybe ok for rock stars, but Ms Hudson is a different story.

To get the statement retracted means she has got her lawyers involved which means it never happened. There were no sightings of it apart from the original article, and the Mirror interviewed the artists and they never mentioned anything about Kate. EJ.
This is just plain bad taste. I don't think people with dwarfism deserve to be objectified and being the butt of a joke like that. These dwarfs are professional artists. I think they do not mind They have to make a living. It is however discriminating to make a difference between them and normal sized people. It wouldn not be in their favor to make this something immoral.

It is however discriminating to make a difference between them and normal sized people. It wouldn not be in their favor to make this something immoral. Again, you possibly can't speak for them and how they feel and claim there is no issue. I can't speak for those particular people either, however you and I can comment on a general level on the phenomenon as a whole. tbf, even the words "they have to make a living" imply a problem... Do tell... I assume SerpentSatellite meant that EJ comment implies that the job possibilities for LP are limited and if being a part of a self-claimed "freak show" is one of the better alternatives on the table, it rather shows the problem right there. Obviously there are LP in all areas of employment, but it's not far-fetched to acknowledge they discrimination in the job market, in addition to the height- and health-related issues many people with drawfisms have. sade
Bit of an odd rationale from a person who spends their time commenting on a band's doings on a messageboard.

sade
I guess that's one, rather streched, interpretation of consumer protection.
