Bumpypotato
I still think he sounds much better on the album Everything does, go figure.

DifferentPerson
This :'( Dont see why they would though Well, he designed the Absolution artwork didn't he? It's a bit of a stretch but it would be nice if they paid tribute to him somehow.

Tom//P
Secondly, at 4:15 onwards you can see Morgan blatantly miming hehe! Is he playing a keyboard? If it's octave chords or something I play like that sometimes. You don't touch the keys? - impressive! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIfhyNg3J04
kueller
You don't touch the keys? - impressive! I hit them very lightly sometimes. Thanks for your sarcasm Most likely miming though.
ryanp16
So my question now is why is Morgan miming?
kueller
Because if he stood around and did nothing that would look even stranger.
Ryoma-kun
Can't really see for sure whether he's miming or not. Would be weird if he did. Since he can pretty much operate a plane with that high-tech thing, I'm sure he could mute it and actually hit the keys if he had to mime.
Will_
His hands don't hit the keys for a few seconds, is that not evidence enough? I don't think he mimes that much though

Dee3Dee
Yeah, if Matt won't play the New Born intro then neither should Morgan imho.

OriginOfAbso
Dunno if you've heard Blackout before....but it IS a slow song. It sounded slower than usual. Maybe it just seemed that way cause of the way Matt was singing it, like he was lagging behind a little bit. Which I know was on purpose.

Jedi of Cydonia
His hands don't hit the keys for a few seconds, is that not evidence enough? I don't think he mimes that much though It's really not obvious evidence he is miming because he very well could be playing octaves with just his pinkies and/or thumbs. I still don't understand why Morgan is necessary at all rather than a backing track though if they don't even really showcase him very well. Jedi of Cydonia
B-b-b-but... Morgan! I'm not saying I think he shouldn't be part of the live show. I just think they should let people see what he is actually doing more of the time and it would be cool if he could interact with the rest of the band more. I'm not positive but it seems like right now his current role is just to basically be a human backing track/run the actual backing tracks.

I met Morgan in NY a couple weeks ago, and the first thing I actually said to him (jokingly, of course) was "I almost didn't recognize you at first, since you're usually hiding back there and we can't see you!". I agree that he should maybe be a little more visible, but maybe he doesn't want that and he's just content with being in the background?
forevermusic
I think I red somewhere he was originally gonna get his own podium on the Resistance arena tour but they couldn't afford it. Might've been Matt talking bollocks in interviews again
