hailingthequeenbee
I wouldn't have been expecting a lengthy gig considering the ticket price compared to what it normally is. I paid same price for my tickets last year for a stadium gig for pretty good seats... idk how long it was though
kueller
Matt has definitely been inspired by classic rock for the Drones vocals. I like it.
Silentgod86
so predicted changes for tomorrow: Futurism for Fury Newborn for Stockholm Starlight for SMBH or TIRO Assassin or Survival for Unnatural Selection
Jasonli18t
It's not a promo gig. A promo gig/tour would have invited the press along. it's a tiny tour in support of an album that hasn't come out, call it whatever you want. you earned those titles, cherish them. CoolFunkMan
Seriously though, that's a pretty awesome setlist! Can't wait till Manchester! Oh, and some funny edit that was made at some point on the setlist.fm page, for anyone that missed it...
Dominic.
Well if anyone's unhappy with the length and fancies swapping a ticket then ay up although obv the person who paid for it would have to be there so would have to swap the extra ticket bla bla etc oh. hailingthequeenbee
The setlist is awesome! hope it stays that way for Newport, ah soooo excited!! if they swapped uno for citizen erased or futurism i'll be laughing
olliemuse
I wouldn't have been expecting a lengthy gig considering the ticket price compared to what it normally is. To be fair a standard gig at the Academy is about £20 so I don't think the price represents the length unless you're a male prostitute.

Alexander DeLarge
Shame Muscle Museum didn't appear today with Uno, but oh well. I'm hyped for the actual tour's set.
pierre8
Pretty nice set. First 8 is surreal. The good old days. Then the last 8 could had been worse.

A standard gig at the Academy is not usually Muse. A Muse gig tends to be around £65+. To seem them in a small venue for about £45 is good value. Niall
I wonder if the Agitated outro was a riff from a new song.
Hat
I wouldn't expect Matt to be able to sing a set like this thoughtout an entire tour if it was longer.Tbh the gig isn't harder than anything on the T2L tour. Hyper Music isn't harder than Follow Me, Agitated is pretty easy, so is Uprising and US. Uno...yeah I guess, but meh, did lots of harder sets on a regular basis in 2013. The voice isn't the issue. Although in this case he seemed a bit out of breath after two songs, so possibly out of shape?
deborafraga
they should play a setlist like that here in Brazil to compensate the cancellation of that gig last year :phu: Fury
serpentsatellite
Well, that was vicariously fun and super depressing, all in one. Now off to do something useful. (yeah right...)

This, but there again I knew that when I bought the ticket... an hour and a half is what I expect for a returning-post-album-production gig.
