I originally entered the arena with passes from my father who works for the Wings and my brother who works for the Soul. When security stopped me they said that they "didn't care who my father was and that he had no authority over them." I walked out by lot H with all my stuff when I saw a lot of big guys walking down a staircase (Media staircase). and then it goes from there. It just did not compute that they would not be selling any reserved seats, since every other venue is doing just that. Con sarn it. Got too excited and sprung too soon. I loved that they played Guiding Light and although I was hoping to hear some older stuff, I don't really care what they play because I'm just thrilled to be able to see them live. Probably the most exciting moment of the evening for me was getting a drum stick from Dom which I had tried to get back in April. I wish I could thank him cause he really made my day! So I walked in and they were all talking, to who I suspect were the media. So they gave a little glance over and then went back to talking. Matt noticed me first cause of the guitar then Chris came over and was amazed at the drawing at him. "F*cking wicked" he said haha. I was kinda playing a pity card because my friends told me he'll give me a guitar if I complained about mine. So I kinda played the act that one day I want to actually buy one of his for full price instead of making a replica for 1/5 of the cost. I explained how it was a high school project when I was 17, and that now I am in college I can't afford it:LOL: I am embarrassed I did, but he was very interested in what I had to say. Honestly, I could only understand every third word he said...and that was only because his hand gestures helped:$ I would've stayed longer if he mentioned Citizen Erased would've been sound checked. I'd never seen them before and heard they put on amazing shows. They didn't disappoint. My friend and I thought they were fantastic.
