2013.09.09 - Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, PA

Recommended Posts

There was only one GA entrance in 2010 which was near the south west corner of the arena if I remember correctly. It could be different this time around though, so you're best off calling the box office to check.

Thank you so much! Was it advertised anywhere on the outside of the building? We are planning on getting there earlier so I just want to make sure we're waiting in the right place! Haha thanks!

I think Sunburn will be likely! Animals would be awesome. Realistically, Bliss would be awesome. Unrealistically, Dead Star again and Thoughts of a Dying Atheist.

Ooooh!! Thoughts of a Dying Atheist would be sooo cool...and yes, sooo unrealistic! LOL! Hey, we can dream, can't we?!? :)

On another note...any word about who won that radio contest to the private performance..??

No problem. There might have been a small sign on the door but I don't really remember, I just walked around until I found the line. Knowing how early some show up though there will probably already be at least a few people when you get there.

I'll let you all know if I get in early or not:) Hopefully I do. I have my 3 drawings and guitar all ready to be signed. I'll be wearing a LA Rising shirt if anyone sees me in line later. I also have a sheet of paper with 3 song requests on them. Lets hope.

Hey everyone! What time are people starting to line up? I live 5 mins from the venue and I don't want to get there too early, but I am also taking a half day from work to make sure i get there. I am going to be waiting by myself because my friend who is coming with me can't make it until 6. Also, any word on this "private performance" advertised by radio 104.5? I had half the city voting for me online and I never heard anything about any winners.

I'll probably get there around noon. Can someone let me know what the line looks like if you get there before noon? I'd appreciate it!

Here now. There are about 20 or 30 people here!

Update: I managed to get into the arena but the security for Muse overrides the arena security for some reason. I got a glimpse of them and after borderline screaming at the head of security he took my guitar and drawings over and got them signed  I asked about my song recommendations and apparently they dont take recommendations which is odd, but they said they'll consider it. On the list was Hyper Music, Fury, Dead Star, and Sunburn. I just left the arena and will be back later. It was nice seeing the blow up beds outside:LOL:

I'm low-level nervous right now, but by the time I get to the venue I'm going to be a bundle of excited anxious energy! aslkdjfhiturhofuajdslkfj

The thing that sucks if you DO have a GA ticket, is that you can't plan meet-ups or grab drinks with people because you are in line. Would love to meet up with people from here. I've been away from here for a few months, so i actually have no idea what other rarities different cities got. Did they only do "Dead Star" on Night #2 in NYC? That's the night I did not go! I would have also loved to hear Sunburn live though.

Yeah, thats the only show they played Dead Star as far as I can tell in the US. sunburn has been played a few times though, so should be a good chance for that live.

Wow! Can't believe no one has posted on here post-gig. :) Had a great time! Yes, OK, I'll admit I was disappointed that they dropped US/Agitated...had sooo badly wanted to see Agitated!! But they were totally on form/Matt's voice sounded GREAT, great energy/crowd was into it....was a really good show, as always, from Muse. Yes, I am one of those who is happy with whatever I DO get, rarities or no, because I am always so damn happy to just be able to see Muse....they just make me happy, plain and simple. :) (Although I am already plotting how I could get to a potential 20th anniversary show to get to see some rarities/other fun songs... ;):) )

Oh man, show was so good. Even though I reconciled myself to seats after giving up my GAs, I STILL felt sad missing out on the floor experience!

I'm also sad I didn't get to hear any rarities, but they DID play Animals, and jeez, they're just so awesome live, I can't possibly be that disappointed.

I was really close to stage on the floor, and my roommate got awesome footage on her iphone of some of the songs start to finish! for some reason, the mic on her iphone never worked so we have footage with no sound! any one have anything they would like to send us if you were on the floor as well?? :(

I was a bit upset that they kinda ignored my requests but its not matter. It was a great show otherwise. I got my guitar signed FINALLY(Pictures of the gig + guitar are on "I'm a Muser's" Facebook page)and I got to shake their hands...it's times like that when I hate being 6'3 and I look down on those who I look up to:$

Well it starts with the head of Muse security escorting me out of the building because apparently Muse is harder to get to than the president:LOL: Then I apparently ran into some Flyers players entering the center through a staircase and they let me in with them haha. I wandered around avoiding Mr. Security and caught them in their dressing room, or before hand:)
