White Heat
When i bought my tickets the whole stadium seats were numbered, it was a normal stage, i guess they can't change it now.
LeicesterBLISS
I'm expecting Matt to play on the hand of that giant robot he was tweeting about a while back. A bit "take that esque" I think would be the best way to describe
JaHawk2009
I liked the Resistance stadium pyramid. Admittedly it looked better the further back you get - if you were up close it looked a bit naff but it looked fucking spectacular from the halfway line (where I had the fortune to wind up at Wembley 2010). The huge runway looks a given. It's what's going with it that's the question. I'd love something more spectacular than the arena pyramid hanging from a black stage but I guess if we're getting rarities that doesn't matter. What makes you think we'll be getting rarities? In Bellamy's mind, that probably means Guiding Light and Feeling Good these days.

Fabri spoke to their tour manager about B&H and Fury. They have been rehearsing FAWY. Matt said, right before Survival at Sheperd's Bush: "Come see us at Emirates or something.....promise to play some old stuff".

My cynicism towards Muse setlists may, just this once, be unfounded.

What Dee said. However what those rarities might be is open for debate. I'm also wondering if I should double up my Emirates tickets, but then that does mean having to see Dizzee Rascal twice. I'll be a bit pissed off if they save all the rarities for the Emirates gigs, hopefully he means they'll play some old stuff across all of the stadium tour. FabriPav
Seeing that the two London indoor gigs didn't get anything too special, they might spread rarities across the whole stadium tour
DifferentPerson
Seeing that the two London indoor gigs didn't get anything too special, they might spread rarities across the whole stadium tour I hadn't thought of this... but did the 2009 London shows get anything special? It could just be that they don't play rarities in arenas? Just looked at setlist.fm and the two O2 gigs in 2009 had pretty average setlists. However, they definitely suffered from second night syndrome, which the 2012 gigs didn't, so perhaps there is still hope for the stadiums.

Dunno if you're counting them as rarities, but y'know!
DifferentPerson
09 got Cave, and 12 got Sunburn. Dunno if you're counting them as rarities, but y'know! Hmmmm, 09 first night got Feeling Good, second night got Cave. 12 first night got Sunburn, second night got Falling Down. I'm counting Cave as a rarity, but Feeling Good sort of cancels it out so overall 09 was average in terms of rarities.

They were late arriving, looked bloody miserable and played a setlist inferior to that of night two.

forevermusic
1st night in 09 was fun but then it was my first Muse gig and pre-tinnitus. I do seem to have poor luck with arena gigs though - on both arena tours in 2009 and 2012 I picked the night with the weaker setlist (09) and/or performance (general consensus is 1st night was better last Oct)
Nipso
Falling Down > Sunburn, so that night wins for me.
Dominic.
Ok, this doesn't have much to do with the 2013 design, nor the 2010 design, but the 2007 design! After some talk about arena size in another thread I ended up wikipediaing shit and ended up on the wembley page which led me to googling for some muse wembley images which led me to this website of the guys that presumably designed Muse's 2007 stage, and it's interest to see how it differs to the final stage (like the runway, and apparently the band were meant to have their only little circular platforms or some shit? http://www.stufish.com/muse/wembley/illustrations.html EDIT: Oh also video screen floor! kueller
It was pretty close to the final one though. I guess the video floor was too much little stands remind me of Blackout from the Abso tour, and possibly a predecessor to the Resistance towers
Matty987
Do you think we will get any pre tour photos of the stage during rehearsals? Im sure TR tour ones were a few months prior to the shows or am i mistaken? Edit; just looked, the pics were put up in May '10 which was 4 months in advance of the shows

Edit; just looked, the pics were put up in May '10 which was 4 months in advance of the shows no 4 months but 10 days before the first stadium gig in stade de suisse I think in the beginning of may some persons will be able to post on the messageboard or twitter some exclusive picture of the stage, from rehearshals, maybe like last time from MK Bowl in milton keynes

But I do remember standing in a park around the back of the MK Bowl, which is 10 miles from where I live, and seeing the tip of the pyramid stage covered in bright lights and video. That's about as far as we got - some Italian Musers got closer when they broke into the Bowl. There's video of them running past the stage and being chased by security. trogette
wasn't that cupkaykie and a couple of friends? it's why MK Jam is known as MK Jam not Bern or Wankdorf Jam and yeah it was a few days before the first gig of that stadium tour, in Bern. trogette
apparently! we had this row back in the day, I was on the side of the first actual gig, not the first rehearsal-or-whatever, obviously cos that's what I was at also the potential confusion between MK Ultra and MK Jam. Monty Jam is just adding insult to injury for me now
