Malfang
I missed them playing Supremacy... Hopefully I'll find it somewhere soon. I've never liked Coldplay, their music is boring :/
Hopix
performance was epic. loved it. people who think that it wasn't live are nuts. too bad they didn't win anything I love Coldplay, but Muse performed and it's bit unfair they don't give any award to them..... I'd rather they didn't win anything from that fucking shambles.

Seaking
rawr band that i like didn't win award Do people still care about these? I mean Mumford & Sons winning best British band should be reason enough (if the past wasn't already) to stop caring about these.
matthijs
I think that Coldplay having remote controlled colour changing bracelets has got something to do with it, plus the fact they they're really good live. Can't always win
Hat
No matter what you think of Coldplay, they can entertain an audience. I personally find most of their material really boring these days, but live they are great.

I thought it used to be that you could guess who would get the awards by who was chosen to perform, but obviously it doesn't work like that any more. Never mind. Great performance by Muse. sade
I haven't seen Coldplay live so I can't comment on their win. However, I don't see it as completely worthy of an eyeroll that people who bother to spend their time on the Muse messageboard, in the section discussing Muse, express disappointment over an award lost. Because, oddly enough, it's generally nicer to win stuff than to lose.
Johi36
Glasses or a colour changing audience I just watched a video - it does look cool indeed (I thought you meant THEY have wristbands, which sounded a bit lame). Never been to one of their concerts, but I actually really liked them a few years ago.

Seaking
Are you a member of Muse? Ever watch a sporting event? People like it when their team wins. Same applies here except unlike any sporting championship these awards mean nothing. Yay Mumford and Sons Another reason why you are wrong. sade
Are you a member of Muse? No, just like so many other people here I wish them all the success and good things as they are a band I really like. The whole vicarious aspect of a fandom, you see. I'm sure all of this was really hard to figure out.
matthijs
If they had lost to say, 1dir, I would have felt upset. This is fair play and deserved too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGLwhTQsxUw

I haven't even checked if my favourite band won the grammy they were nominated for. Tbh I don't even know when the Grammy awards were being announced, but I heard it's been done at least. And if Muse were an up and coming band I would see your point about success in the post above, but right now a brit award does fuckall to Muse's success as a band. Just fans and unfortunately Muse have a lot of haters.

Because if it was just music, Muse would obviously win. Oh wait, it would still come down to popularity.
forevermusic
I thought The Rolling Stones would win the Best Live... naturally I'd forgotten about Coldplay. Bit like their forgettable music tbf. I'm more baffled they created a category so they could give One Direction a freebie. What the fuck is that about?
