Hello Musers !

Sorry to jump into the conversation, but I would like to understand how the entrance for GA works. I'll have to collect my tickets on the day of the event, therefore, I'll queue at the best door I can find and pray for the security to let me in even if this is not the door written on my ticket in the end... :(

So could you please explain to me what would be the best doors on the side to get near to the stage ? I saw a lot of plans on the net, but they are all just about the seats ?!?!?

If security refuse to allow you through, which I'm sure is exactly what will happen if you're at the wrong gate, and you then stand there trying to convince them to change their minds, you are going to be extremely unpopular with all those behind you who get held-up! Good luck with that :awesome:

Yes, I know, but I heard that the same thing happened in Wembley and the security let the people who had queue since the morning entered where they were even if it wasn't the gate that was written on their tickets, so I'll take my chances, because if I don't try, I'll be in the back anyway... :$

And I'll try to ask them before they open the gate if I see them while explaining the situation. If they are not stupid, they'll understand and let me in... And this way, I won't have to bother anyone behind me in the queue.

So any idea regarding the doors ?

Yes, but how can I queue at the right door when I don't have my ticket ?

Unfortunately, you can't, you'll just have to accept you need to queue at the correct gate once you've collected your ticket. Which is why so many people from outside the UK have contacted Gigs & Tours/Seetickets to change the delivery address to someone in the UK. You've left it a bit late to do that now.

Whatever, does anyone can help me with understanding the doors ?

You could gamble and find the gate you're most likely to get and queue there early, hang around with the people there, explaining your situation and go for your tickets at 17.00. If it's the wrong gate... Well tough luck.. ^^ If you're travelling with friends, you could split up and do the same.

I didn't know anyone in the UK anyway, so it would have be complicated for me to receive my tickets there... However, I saw some maps and think I understand it better now. I thought there would be a lot of doors like in Paris, but on the plans I saw, there are just three right ? One South, one East and one North ?

If that is right, we can try one queue and that still leaves us 33 % of chances to get it right... Haha. It's better than nothing.

For future reference, ask someone here to accept your delivery (obviously you'd want to pick someone who is a regular poster and you feel you can trust), I have never met either of the people who have had their tickets sent to me :)

There are also individual turnstiles at each entrance, my ticket states I'm to enter at 'Clock End, Turnstile M'. One of the people for whom I've received tickets is to enter via turnstile L. Clock end is the south entrance.

What the hell, I sent an email to the Emirates asking when the box office will open and they replied it will open at 17:30 the night of the concert? That's after the doors openened, right? That's so late!

First act will probably be on some time after 6.

Muse will probably be on some time after 8.30 (8.45 most likely).

Curfew is 11 so it'll finish around 11.

Pretty sure the curfew at the Emirates is 10.30.

Thank you for the advice and the answer. I'll go and pray now that the box office will open earlier than someone said it would... Cheers.
