wolstenstate
I've got my ticket! btw, how late do you have to be there to get a spot at the barrier? I have school first so I'll be there at about 2:30 pm (half 3), so that's not very early but then again probably most people will have school/work first, and two years ago at goffertpark (which was on a saturday) we were there at about noon and there weren't more than about 50-100 people when we arrived. I know. I was there at noon but got stuck at the gates because some ass would take a whole suitcase full of drinks and stuff in the field!! So i was at the 5-6th row. But at Ziggodome i was there at 10:15am and was at the barrier! I hangs on to the weather also i guess! If it's raining all day than there will be less people how will queue very early. But always 20+ people are there before 9am. So i guess you will have a nice spot. Not the barrier i guess but in the front! The stage is high so you see thing better near the stage than at the barrier i guess

I hope it will rain a lot then, it wouldn't bother me if it meant I get a spot more to the front, lol!
problematiqueMG
I think ill be there around 1pm. Dont need to be at the barrier, just a good spot in the front rows The only thing i've to decide is which side ill choose. Chris' or matt, because normally I go for the safe option in the middle. But i'm going to 4 gigs so it will be 2x chris 2 x matt. Btw does anyone know if there's going to be an golden circle or something similar? ayla
Does anyone know if it's true that the roof of the Arena always has to stay closed during concerts? I remember reading this somewhere but I don't remember where.
robertmollers
I 've been to five gigs in the Amsterdam Arena, with a closed roof over our heads. It's mandatory.

Elineo0
At what time do the gates open? And how late is everyone going to be there? Probably I'm going to be there very very VERY late, around 6 pm D: Will I be all the way in the back when I go that late?
remco1993
The gates open at 5pm. There's probably a lot more people that have work etc. (as it's on a Tuesday) so you probably won't be all the way at the back.

remco1993
It says 5 here: http://www.amsterdamarena.nl/Kalender/Evenement/Muse-2.htm#request=datum/20130604.html But I'm sure we'll get a more complete timetable closer to the show.

ayla
Why? Then you'd just have to wait really long inside the stadium. 17:00 is better.

H4N5
If the roof has to be closed during gigs, can we still have the same pyro? Those chimneys are quite high, and it looks like the fire would be close to the roof.

remco1993
Nope, the roof is always closed during concerts... There are people living quite nearby the stadium, so there'll be too much noise when it's open.
wolstenstate
If the roof is closed then they can't do the firethings. so it will be open. Emirates is also close to the house so they had a curfew of 10:30pm. I think it's gonna be the same in Amsterdam Posted from Muse.mu App for Android
remco1993
We'll see... for all the gigs I've seen there so far, the roof has always been closed. Hope not though, because from what I've read/seen, the pyro is massive and impressive!
