valentina_muse Posted November 6, 2012 Author Posted November 6, 2012 How could you even compare the two shows Yes, it's ridiculous!
FabriPav Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Also, "they don't play Hysteria or New Born anymore, and no tracks from their 1999 debut, Showbiz" lol
kueller Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Also, "they don't play Hysteria or New Born anymore, and no tracks from their 1999 debut, Showbiz" lol I hope Muse bring back Supremacy this tour.
altbecky Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Really, only 2 Battle Born tracks? It said "all but two". Yeah. I am more stupid for having read that article.
Strangeseas Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I don't know what their definition of bangers is.
darksky Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 It said "all but two". Yeah. I am more stupid for having read that article. Well, they actually play 2 songs from the new album... I also read that article it's bad...
DukeNatty Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Love that 'Monty Jam' is listed on Muse's setlist.
kueller Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 It said "all but two". Oops. Isn't that the same for T2L though? Oh wait they don't play Prelude either.
lauri_musa Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 "NME is a psycho girlfriend that loves you, then hates and then loves you again" lol oh you, NME!
forevermusic Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I went to see both last week (would've been see Muse in Birmingham the night before The Killers did if my ears weren't fucked up) and it is really hard to compare them - Muse have a lot more going on in terms of staging while The Killers is more solely about the performance. It is way too tempting to compare them though. As they have.
FabriPav Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Love that 'Monty Jam' is listed on Muse's setlist. Frak will be happy And that's the worst NME article about Muse I've ever read
Dee3Dee Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Oh wait they don't play Prelude either. Prelude doesn't count.
kueller Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Prelude doesn't count. Then it's the same. All but 2 songs.
Kartoffel Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 Serious.. Muse vs Killers? Dear Barry Nicolson, dont waste your time..
forevermusic Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 And that's the worst NME article about Muse I've ever read I dunno - I remember a particularly terrible one in 2008 about Matt setting the record for guitar trashing on the Absolution Tour.
FabriPav Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 I dunno - I remember a particularly terrible one in 2008 about Matt setting the record for guitar trashing on the Absolution Tour. But that's not their fault, it's a common belief
forevermusic Posted November 6, 2012 Posted November 6, 2012 But that's not their fault, it's a common belief There's a pretty poor article about it though. It may well have just doubled as a plug for the Mark Beaumont book about the band but it wasn't a great article.
eyduh Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Also, "they don't play Hysteria or New Born anymore, and no tracks from their 1999 debut, Showbiz" lol You can sit down, NME
