The 510s are a little smoother, but the standard gotohs are still some of the better machine heads out there. Because you might have to tear the entire thing apart and start over. That or figure out how to add those plastic connectors to the new pickup wires. That or figure out how to add those plastic connectors to the new pickup wires. Yup, I did. The aluminum knobs Allen screws kind of fucked up 2 of the pots, so I had to switch them out. Oh well, 2015 model, guitar has no resell value anyway I took it apart and what's interesting is that out of the two Mallory caps on the circuit board (for coil splits - the humbuckers have .022 orange drops), only one reads .032 and one .021.
