Nice. Sustainiac next?

I'm sort of tempted to put a black MBK-2 back in this one.

It originally had one, but it wouldn't work properly with the sustainer. I'd have to find one that's guaranteed to work though.

Sounds good as is, but could probably use a little more top end.

keep the MBK3 and turn the volume down to 7.3? :ninja:

You sure it's 7.3? I thought it would vary depending on the tolerance of the volume pot. :ninja:

all of marks volume and tone pots are on 10, don't know why he has them fitted

It's not enough until it goes to 20

Wasn't me, but I probably would have if I had the full £3,500 :ninja:

Then that just leaves....

I thought he had more sophisticated tastes than that.

O wow wish I was at the Mansons Show. Wonder if they´d let you play the MBs..

Also James, you´ve had a couple of MAs refinished right? What kind of refinish options are they offering? You think they´d do a carbon wrap or metallic finish?

Nice find, James! Thanks for posting that. And in all fairness, the food you posted did look delicious!

2:20 you can see rust_relic :chuckle:

...or can you?

Since I've returned, I've had two dreams involving #nandos. I'm not even joking.

I think the best food I had was at boston tea party. Right next to the cavern club - I was going to go there for a night out with the lads, but we ended up going to coal grill (it's a bit of a tradition now)

Maybe I never noticed before, but did we always have comments like

"How's the weight on this one?"

"Nice, is it heavy?"

"Cool guitar, is it weight relieved? I bet it must weigh around 2.5kg?"

Or did that just happen when we found out Matt had back problems

Most guitar players who play on stage for long periods of time have them. Very common for guitar players to have problems with their upper trap on their playing arm and in their lower back from poor posture while playing. His posture when bent over a piano so he can reach his microphone also wouldn't help.

Also doesn't help if you're moving gear around a lot, which he obviously doesn't do himself now but in the early days would've done and would still have to do at his home and in the studio.

So after putting the MBK-2 in my MA Evo the guitar doesn't play as nicely. I think I accidently moved the bridgeposts and changed the heights. Does anyone have the original heights?

Use these as a guide. From the bottom of the string to the top of the 12th fret:

low E - 2mm

high E - 1.6mm
