And security weren't anal or anything last time I was there. Just completely disorganized. Splitting the queue into multiple security lines, then letting one of those split lines that was way far behind in the queue go inside first (and getting center barrier as a result), causing all sorts of anger and chaos.

:eek: you win some you lose some, i suppose :'(

does anyone know how many tries it generally takes to pull up a GA ticket during onsales? i'm buying a ticket for a friend in the morning and I'd feel terrible if I came up empty handed. :(

I'm looking at the Ticketmaster page and it has an "Arena" where the GA pit should be. Anyone know if this is standing or not because its sectioned like a seated area? http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/2C004945D9045C81

yes it's standing only, I'm sure that arena layout is their default "concerts" layout. I only wish there were seats since I don't mosh anyway.

got a GA ticket for a friend! yayyy :D

I was so confused by ticketmaster - because GA tickets generally don't list rows. Now I get it. So my Row 0 means nothing - I still have to get there wicked early. Oh well.

Yeah. There are no rows in GA. Ticketmaster puts seat numbers and sections on their tickets for their own cataloging purposes. It has no impact on the access to the floor. It will be all open.

Any GA ticket holders know if your tickets are transferrable? I'm broke from buying 4 GA tickets for the LA shows but my friend is willing to let me use his credit card to buy a GA ticket for San Diego, but he won't be there. Already searched ticketmaster for answers, and I know my LA tickets aren't, but has anyone seen a "transfer tickets" button next to their GA ticket order for San Diego?

Thanks!

The only thing you cna do is sell at stubhub, recoup some of that money and get tix for this show. I logged on late and was able to get GA.

you can't re-sell on Stubhub. GA tickets are paperless and attached to the credit card you used to buy the tickets.

unfortunately your friend has to be there with you if you used his card to buy GA tickets.

the other option which could end in disaster is SELLING your tickets on Ticketmaster's Ticketexchange service and re-purchasing them with your own credit card OR a credit card from someone within your party. Someone else might snatch them up before you, and there's nothing you could do to stop that from happening. :(

it all sucks and I've been complaining about it for days, but hey, the paperless ticket thing was clearly stated on the North American tour announcement. gotta know what you're in for prior to purchasing. :\

So let me get this straight. For SD, I bought 6 tickets: 2 for GA1, 2 for GA3, and 2 for GA4, it will all be the same, no different sections? Also for LA2 I got GA3, would that be the same as GA1, or GA2, etc? I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO CONFUSED! luckily my LA1 tix is are seated tix.

Yeah, they are all the same. The number next to it does not matter.
