kueller Posted October 7, 2012 Author Posted October 7, 2012 It's in january, no time to find a job and get a ticket Well, if I win the lottery... Didn't me and James already suggest the prostitution thing?
FabriPav Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Didn't me and James already suggest the prostitution thing? But I'm classy
JessicaSarahS Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I am definitely going to this! Party on the BART bridge again! That's the best place for pick up/drop off/parking!
kueller Posted October 7, 2012 Author Posted October 7, 2012 So how fast have tickets been selling out so far? I don't want this to end up like Radiohead where it sold out before I could access the page.
Luigi. Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Wish they would have announced this after the European tour started. I wanted to see how the tour was before buying tickets.
JessicaSarahS Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Wish they would have announced this after the European tour started. I wanted to see how the tour was before buying tickets. I agree. Too late now! I should just ask my mom to drop me off at the BART station or something. I swear I quoted your quote but somehow I quoted my own. So that previous reply was for you.
Killer Rabbit Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I am definitely going to this! Party on the BART bridge again! Woot Woot!
That Little Animal Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Hmm, the East Bay, that's soooo far away.
tehebilpoptart Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Definitely going to go to this. I don't have a car but I only live in Sacramento, I can find a way! c:
Althea Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Hmm, the East Bay, that's soooo far away. Â Right?! Â I'm still going, even though I hate going under the bay on BART.... *heebie-jeebies* Â Â Â Definitely going to go to this. I don't have a car but I only live in Sacramento, I can find a way! c: Â Capitol Corridor Amtrak to Richmond BART station, then BART to Oakland coliseum stop, and you're there.
xogirl Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 You can only buy reserved seats from the presale, not GA??
Killer Rabbit Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Capitol Corridor Amtrak to Richmond BART station, then BART to Oakland coliseum stop, and you're there. I might be remembering this wrong, but I believe there is an Amtrak stop (platform with ticket buying machines) by the Coliseum/Arena near the BART station.
kueller Posted October 8, 2012 Author Posted October 8, 2012 You can only buy reserved seats from the presale, not GA?? Can someone confirm or deny this?
Killer Rabbit Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 It looks like you can buy both GA and seats in the pre-sale. It says "$73 - General Admission and Reserved" on the site. "Reserved" usually means seated tickets.
altbecky Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Looks like this is going to be my gig, unless I want to gamble on them coming back closer to me later in the year... Gonna be an expensive trip...
altbecky Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 So, checking out the venue's website for this show, and they have an interesting seating map. The floor is separated into sections, as though it was seated, yet the message at the top says it's general admission/standing only. Why separate the floor into sections if it's just GA? The reason I am asking is, if the floor has seating, i'd like to go ahead and presale for floor seats. If not, since I am a mini person, and we're bringing our 13 yr old, I am not comfortable being in a festival type situation. Does anyone have a clue about this? I know there are some places in the US that don't allow standing room only type seating, due to the liability factor. I am just wondering if Oracle Arena is one of these places. Their explanation condradicts the seating map...
altbecky Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Just re reading that, my word choice makes it sound like I am an actual "little person". I am not, lol, just very short.
halo eighteen Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 Pretty sure the floor is sectioned like that for when they have seated events on the floor. Since the muse show will be GA standing room, it should just be one big open floor. Ticketmaster's seating chart implies this. http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/1C00494388554F4B?artistid=1400322&majorcatid=10001&minorcatid=1
thejubs Posted October 9, 2012 Posted October 9, 2012 First timer here. Does anyone know if there will be cheaper ticket options when it's open to the general public? The ticket prices at Oracle seem to be quite a bit higher than other venues. http://www.ticketmaster.com/Muse-tickets/artist/1400322?tm_link=edp_Artist_Name Also, has anyone ever bought tickets in person at the Oracle ticket office? Do they still charge ticketmaster fees?
