The news came out today ! I can't wait. We will have all the time to learn all the lyrics of the new album until that, something to do to pass the time more quickly until april 23th.

Can we talk in french for this thread ?

Are you going in Montreal and Québec too ?

Posted

merci,

Well shit, looks like we do have to write in english even though it's a Montréal thread. Been a while, didn't remember that rule.

For the presale, you have to go on your profile on muse.mu on October 8th and you should see your access code for it. On October 13th at 10am, a Buy Tickets link will appear on the page of each concert. (Tour dates section, then select the date). If it's anything like the presale in 2010, you'll be directed to a page where you see all the gigs going on sale on October 13th. Be careful to choose the right venue, I remember back in 2010 there were two venues with a similar name and some bought the wrong tickets. Keep in mind, it might say "SOLD OUT" next to the venue quite early (I nearly had a heart attack when I saw SOLD OUT at 5 seconds after 10am). Thing is, I think they let only a handful of people in at once to buy tickets so that the website doesn't overload. Keep trying and you'll get in eventually (took me about 30 minutes). It wouldn't be a bad idea to have the seats plan next to plan where you can see all the different sections. Last presale in 2010 was a bit chaotic: even though it was a muse.mu member presale, some got really shitty tickets like in the 400s section (highest section) at the opposite of the stage. Hope this helps a bit :)

I'm a bit nervous for October 13th though: I'll have to try and hide for a while to have enough time to buy my tickets since I'll be at work at the time. Crap

OH SHI-

I really did not see that, thanks for pointing it out Alimuse! Well that's a goddamn relief, I won't be working that day

I love how they picked the fucking exact middle of the week to put tickets on sale.

I made an account beforehand but I don't even know if I did it correctly.

If you made your account correctly, you are supposed to had received an email confirmation from : Tix. After, you have to follow the link in the email and your done !

Really?

I did not get that. Will try again now.

Edit: I was able to login using the details I created earlier. So I guess I must have accidentally deleted the email earlier (which means it had been filtered to my junk). Do I need the email or can I just click on the Montreal section when I want to buy tickets?

The best way to know if you registered correctly is to log in on muse.mu. After logging in, click "MEMBERS" in the upper right corner, exactly where you clicked to sign in. The first thing you'll see if you registered in time (before October 8th) is "Your event codes". Your presale code for the north american tour will be just below. Below the tour dates will be a play by play of what you need to do to be able to buy tickets in the presale. Just be sure to click on the link http://muse.tickets.musictoday.com to create your account for tomorrow. Your muse.mu account will not work on the musictoday website. Have your presale code in hand, you'll have to enter it to be able to create an account on the ticketing site.

If you don't see your presale code in your member area and you're absolutely certain you registered on muse.mu (not the board) in time or if your code doesn't work on musictoday, post your problem in this thread http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=88014

Hope this helps ;)

Got my GA. Kept trying for reds but to no avail. It's harder when you're trying to get 3 tickets. Anyway, are there any GA people meeting up to line up outside? My friends all work.

I managed to grab 2 seated tickets in section 102 row P. Since the first 10 rows are reserved for VIP, I think I scored some great seats! The queue from the last show here was way too intense for me

I have to say that the presale was 1000% better than my last experience a couple of years ago... (was it crowsurge then?) Very pleased.

Biffy Clyro are supporting Muse for the Montreal shows and I could not be more freakin excited :)))

I had bought seated tix but I would like to trade for GA if anyone is willing... either night. I have tix in the reds, section next to the stage (102 row P seat 1&2 for the 23rd and section 103 row O seat 1&2 for the 24th)

Anyone interested in a trade???

***edited to say *****

I am now selling my seats for the second show. Section 103 Row O seat 1&2 if anyone is interested...
