The crazy thing is that I can imagine the indie/alternative crowd thinking Save me is the only decent song on the album, and I would totally get their point. However, when my brain is adjusted to "Muse" different standards seem to apply. I love how shitty (in an awesome way!) Muse can be, even if it sometimes goes overboard for me. Madness has grown on me and it's a lot better in the context of the album, Unsustainable is great right up until the last drop which is so disappointing it sort of negates the rest of the song. Music isn't something you can judge after less than a day, listen to the album a few more times before you jump to any conclusions. Maybe for YOU. I happen to trust my first impressions the most. Sure it has its flaws but it contains one of the few epic moments in a rather underwhelming album.... Not to mention it should be one of the best live songs in the bunch... Worst song? Probably Follow Me... The cringeworthy lyrics/vocal deliveries, trance aspects, U2 influence... dont sit that well with me.
