FabriPav
You want me to upscale it or something? I'd happily make it 20000x18000 but I can't be arsed

FabriPav
The effort on finding it < the effort of making the upscale, uploading it, and ctrl-c&ctrl-v it here. Those tags too, naah. Too tired.
Gwyn
Am I almost the only one on here who's not overly keen on Animals? And the Screenager comparisons don't help, seeing as that's one of my least favourite Muse songs of all time. It might grow on me, but the tune does seem a little one dimensional and samey at the moment.
Niall
I don't like Animals. It doesn't go anywhere other than some rather grating shouting and a lacklustre ending. And the lyrics are sub par. Reminds me a bit of the beginning of Dreaming by SOAD. The live version sounded bigger.
Furygirl
It's weird 'cause I'm not a fan of Screenager that much, but I love this song.
FabriPav
Correct lyrics: Animal, You're an animal Don't take anything less. Out of control, you're out of control Strike those in distress. Analyse, advertise Expand Bend more rules Buy yourself an island. Animals, We're animals, Buy when blood is on the street. Out of control, we're out of control Crush those who beg at your feet. Analyse, franchise, Spread out Kill the competition And buy yourself an ocean. Amortise, downsize Lay off Kill yourself Come on and do us all a favour. Hat
People who hear a goat/sheep are crazy. It's a signal of some sort, which obviously makes the shouting people cheer. And neither is it a riot....
Peter.
listened again to this... UNFINISHED SONG. seriously, what was Matt thinking? how could he end the song with that fast as hell drumbeat which OBVIOUSLY sounds like a lead-up to something commonly known as RIFFAGE. Muse's songs evoke many emotions: this one made me angry. they better finish this off properly live... or else!

Hat
I don't even hear a hint of Radiohead in this song.
spark_
It begin 5/4 and the early guitar lines do vaguely evoke some 90s Radiohead. Vaguely. I mean, it's fairly long bow to draw.
Peter.
I don't even hear a hint of Radiohead in this song. I guess it's mostly the drums in the beginning, but it's not really like it.
Hat
I'd still say 5/8 since it feels more like shuffled eighths.
DifferentPerson
I don't even hear a hint of Radiohead in this song. When I first heard it I thought it sounded a bit like Knives Out, but that's about the only comparison I can make.
Mitton
Someone posted a tab on Ultimate Guitar saying it's tuned half a step down. I don't think it is because it's pretty rare that Matt tunes half a step down in the studio.
PeedgeMcDuck
The production of the end 5/8 riff is embarrassing on disc. Should be so huge....is not...
Mitton
The production of the end 5/8 riff is embarrassing on disc. Should be so huge....is not... It isn't the production. The riff isn't played consistently enough and the beat is on the hi hat opposed to the crash. Makes it sound a lot less heavy than it should be, personally I don't have a problem with the way it sounds.
