spark_
This is one of those songs that works far better than it really should (studio version)
the aurora
When I listened to it via the gig, I didn't think too much of it but now I quite like it! Second half more than the first but it's quite catchy.

JessicaSarahS
Reminds me of NIN and RHCP mixed together. I've heard 10981203912 comparisons, but... NIN? Yes. It reminds me of early Pretty Hate Machine era NIN a little. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nnk6fVzPvk8&hd=1 I couldn't pinpoint the exact NIN song it reminded me of, even though the feeling was in the back of my mind. But after listening to the stream, I've figured it out. It reminds me a lot of God Given! gQ1PT8gRtfU I fucking love Panic Station! I don't think I can say that enough. "You won't get to taste it /With your face against the wall" Kinky.

Megglen
The studio version is sooooo goooood!!!!!!! I demand merch that says "You've Arrived at Panic Station". I second that. When I first listened to the studio version, I had no idea what the hell was going on. Now, I fucking love it. Panic Station for Triple J Hottest 100! But after listening to the stream, I've figured it out. It reminds me a lot of God Given! gQ1PT8gRtfU . it'd be great if it was something in this style...dirty funky electro rock like NIN..that would be a funk track in a Muse style in my opinion .but instead it's a really weird absurd and silly mashup of shit with horns (!)...its not that good
Gigapoodle
Seriously, really, dig the bass. Cuz its funk, obvs, but still. This is really shaping up to be Chris's breakthrough.
Killer Rabbit
It works in every way. And the crazy thing is, it shouldn't work. By all reasoning and logic, this song should suck majorly (I mean, Muse doing funk). But somehow, I don't know how on Earth they did it, they made a damn good song. deanob17
So we all agree this is better than Supermassive Black Hole and Undisclosed Desires, yeah? It feels like they've been trying to do this for years, and have finally nailed it.

Absolutioner
Is it weird that I think this is actually one of the most "Muse-sounding" songs on the album?

Tom Wells
Has anyone pointed out yet that it sounds like a cross between Another One Bites The Dust and Superstition?
jbyun04
Has anyone pointed out yet that it sounds like a cross between Another One Bites The Dust and Superstition? I'm tired of Queen comparisons. I like to look at the bassline as a mix of some kind of funk and Killing in the Name of.
