ChrisirhC Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Why not? Because of last time the negativity started when they were released? Possibly affect pre-order numbers?
Apocalyptic Gerbil Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 I thought the reaction to TR previews was quite positive compared to the reaction to the full album.
kueller Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 The band mentioned they wanted to keep a lot of stuff hidden this time around, which probably explains it. Disregarding the fact they already released 4 songs off the album.
kueller Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 4? Madness Prelude Survival Unsustainable
FabriPav Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Unsustainable It's The 2nd Law: Unsustainable, you idiot.
Andors Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 4? Prelude, Survival, Unsustainable and Ma-ma-ma-madness
Niall Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 I don't think Prelude really counts, it's even merged as one track on most of the promos.
Frakkles Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 It counts because it's listed as a track on the album. Just like Interlude and Intro.
Niall Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Alright, if you want to call Intro and Interlude "songs".
kueller Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Alright, if you want to call Intro and Interlude "songs". Whether I consider it a separate piece or not doesn't change the fact it's still a separate track on the album It's The 2nd Law: Unsustainable, you idiot.
Niall Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Yeah, you just said they released 4 songs off the album is all, I had mentally been thinking that it was one "song" as the version I have from the promo is one single song/track.
HannahG123 Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 It looks like she's saying 'jew'. She wears far too much eye makeup

Yeah I can kinda see how that could be overlooked, also Prelude isn't even a song so forgive me. Still, 4 tracks.
Hat Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Niall, don't be so anal. No one likes a smartass. It looks like she's saying 'jew'. She is. It's subtle racism. She wears far too much eye makeup Oh no you didn't. GUUUURL
forevermusic Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 iTunes don't do previews anymore for albums that haven't been released - The Killers album was streaming on the US iTunes but I couldn't even get previews on it's UK version. Green Day's album also has no previews despite the fact it's leaked and is straming on NME.com.

Seaking Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Alright, if you want to call songs "songs". Fixed.
Seaking Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Explain. Niall, they are songs. They occupy individual tracks on the album. I really don't think there is any gray area here.
kueller Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Niall, they are songs. Well if you want to get really anal about details... Prelude isn't even a song
