altbecky Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 For the record only the Killer's lead singer is Mormon. And his music has nothing to do with his church. I see nothing strictly Mormon about it. So why the qualifier? Are we discounting the contributions of thousands of people simply because of where they worship? Because if not, you should probably take out the Mormon qualifier, otherwise you look a bit bigoted.
Seaking Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 Are we discounting the contributions of thousands of people simply because of where they worship? How do you know he was using Mormon as an insult? If anything you are the person that made it the insult. He was just stating a fact. If he called them white, would you take offense with that?

If he called them white, would you take offense with that? Actually... kinda... Yes. More relevant: would someone take offense if he said they were black (supposing that was true?) Absolutely. No one's really offended about "majority" slurs. But, in all seriousness. South Park told me mormons are stupid, I believe.
chudenk Posted October 30, 2012 Posted October 30, 2012 The Killers are just some whiny redneck Springsteen wannabe mormon pop band. +1
Keth Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 What song do you reckon Muse will play? Follow Me or Madness? I'm guessing it's going to be Follow Me.
FabriPav Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 What song do you reckon Muse will play? Follow Me or Madness? I'm guessing it's going to be Follow Me. Yeah I think so. Maybe it's without guitar and he'll run around the stage
Keth Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Yeah I think so. Maybe it's without guitar and he'll run around the stage Well that's the latest single so I'm guessing they'd do that. He'd also probably drop with the drop again But I'd really love to see a massive laser show like the one they did last time with Starlight ()
Keth Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Wouldn't it be awkward if they played Survival (I know they won't just saying) and they didn't win
PanicStationofCydonia77 Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 Wouldn't it be awkward if they played Survival (I know they won't just saying) and they didn't win That would just be pure irony
FabriPav Posted November 10, 2012 Posted November 10, 2012 already posted in the Twitter thread http://www.photoblab.com/blabs/509eab116b57dd0200000005/

Thought they'd play follow me because of it being the latest single and all but Madness oh well. Just hope they won't do that god awful radio edit version.
Keth Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Maybe two songs? Haven't seen many bands play more than one song (maybe a few here and there) so probably not but then who knows
foldingstars Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Haven't seen many bands play more than one song (maybe a few here and there) so probably not but then who knows Yeah, last year Queen and Adam Lambert did three, but I think it's unlikely that Muse would do more than one.
Keth Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 It'd be nice if they did something like Panic Station or Follow Me. But oh well I'm hoping a nice little laser show after what they did with Starlight last time they played at the EMA.
Jobby Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Watched a snippet of this earlier. Who is the hostess? She seems insufferable, I couldn't watch anymore because of her. Also, I can't see Muse doing more than one song. It does seem odd that they've chosen Madness though.
ellielovesmuse Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 :pSo do we need to start watching the bit that starts at 7 or only from 7:30 onward?
darksky Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Watched a snippet of this earlier. Who is the hostess? She seems insufferable, I couldn't watch anymore because of her. Heidi Klum originally german topmodel, but nowadays famous in over-sea too... she really IS insufferable
FabriPav Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 Where can we watch this? Uhm.... Something tells me it's on MTV.
Hyper Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 I am waiting to see if it will work here, has a countdown http://ru.mtvema.com/live
mimisail Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 I hope they're gonna play Follow Me, cause it's a great song and well it's their next single, and it's a song that many people will like so it'd be a good option.
mjartrod Posted November 11, 2012 Posted November 11, 2012 I hope they're gonna play Follow Me, cause it's a great song and well it's their next single, and it's a song that many people will like so it'd be a good option. They're going to play Madness, Tom's tweets confirm it. Doubt they'll be playing more than once, unfortunately.
