FabriPav
Good read. I think I'm going to really enjoy the album. Follow Me seems exciting, even if the reviewer doesn't seem to be sold on it. I guess that's because it's a guitar magazine and the song is too electronic for his standards
kueller
Does he really not double track guitars on this album?
FabriPav
Does he really not double track guitars on this album? Seems like it. It's really a weird thing, if true. Maybe he still uses delays over delays though.

I'd assume so considering he said he did that in the article this thread is about That EQ filtering automation thing is pretty neat too. I might use that. Shwissky
I could swear Madness has a little bit of double guitar tracking in it. Although this is not why I think this, but Morgan playing guitar live seems to reinforce that.
kueller
I don't think by double tracking he meant there were no layers (although he might have, since Madness would've just been a wall of delay) but the style of taking the same part twice to create that bigger sound. Super Sammy!
Does he really not double track guitars on this album? Well I'm not sure why they needed two guitars to play Madness live then bloody Bellamy.
Dee3Dee
Well I'm not sure why they needed two guitars to play Madness live then bloody Bellamy. I think it's because Morgan doesn't do enough already. /musearelazy
kueller
I would pay to see Morgan singlehandedly perform an entire Muse concert.

In the studio version there are clearly two guitar parts. Besides, he wouldn't have anything to do if it weren't for that.

Seaking
Well the live version is a bit different from the studio one. Ya there was a small addition on the guitar part.
