Unidentifiable
(I'm sorry if this is already an existing topic but i've checked the last 10 pages of Muse threads, just delete if appropriate) Are there many Muse songs you would produce or mix differently? eg. have a more sparse sound, thicker/rougher guitar tone or add strings and orchestration somewhere? Personally I can't think of much, but would change the effect on Matt's verse vocals on Hysteria so they didn't sound as if he's being muffled by bubble wrap. I'd also try and have the Unnatural Selection outro sounding a bit heavier, it has so much wasted potential especially the first part.
Gohenko
About 75% of all Muse songs, but for starters I'd say BHaR.
Jobby
All of BH&R, most of Showbiz and Absolution, not much of TR (Uprising, Resistance and Guiding Light) and only New Born from OOS.
futurellama
All of Black Holes, all of Absolution. I wouldn't touch anything on Showbiz - even if you find the production poor, there's not much of a song to rescue there anyway. I dunno about OoS though - New Born would definitely be a candidate - I'd try to make Dom's drumming during the verses less annoying. I'd make Megalomania's final blast louder. Travis III
All of BH&R and Abso - they'd be even better with a more powerful, more dynamic and energetic sound similar to the live versions. I'd also give Unnatural Selection a much rawer production.
You.Make.Me.Sick
Probably most of BH&R, Unnatural Selection (just the ending, I think it needs to be hevier, thicker like SS's ending) and the same with MK Ultra. EDIT Guess I'm a little late on US...
Bells
Survival. I'd change everything including the decision they made that it was worth existing.

haarpuna
Most of TR.
El Zilcho
The snare drum in Take A Bow needs more reverb and a "larger" sound in general. The bass not fading out properly before the piano solo in B&H is annoying, it just stops all of a sudden.
dontask
I'd give Uprising its outro back. I think Undisclosed Desires should be far better than it is on the record, though I don't know enough to say what should be done. Mostly, its certain live additions that would make studio recordings better. The scream from Stockholm Syndrome, for example.
Gareeh
Survival. I'd change everything including the decision they made that it was worth existing. The lyrics are the only thing bad about the song and even at that they're still not that bad Yeah, I'd just do BHAR all over again, the rest is fine. You'd just be nitpicking stuff they do live that they don't in the studio, but that's why the songs are much better live and do you really want to take that away? Cream147
The lyrics are the only thing bad about the song and even at that they're still not that bad Incidentally, without going too far off topic, I love the lyrics to Survival. It's cheesy and over-the-top because it's meant to be and why shouldn't it be? It's really quite a fun song. I'd definitely need to fiddle with BH&R. Make the set sound like one big piece rather than a collection of unrelated songs by the same band for a start.
Jetro
All of Absolution and BHAR, like others have said. Mainly drums being so weak they sound pathetic. Hysteria and Stockholm Syndrome, anyone?
Travis III
SS needs to be heavier and much more energetic. Hearing it live (which was amazing) really ruined the studio version for me, I'm afraid.
Travis III
The lyrics are the only thing bad about the song and even at that they're still not that bad My main problem with Survival is that it loses all sense of momentum when it tries to get "heavy". I actually really like the guitar tone, but the riffs themselves do absolutely nothing for me and it feels so much longer than it actually is. I could live with the lyrics if it was musically any good, but past the 1 minute mark it just isn't, IMO. I think the song is pretty well-produced, though. Tim59
I'd add a lot more bass to the second drop in Unsustainable.
