HomesickSubterranean
I really don't care who their influences are (to a certain extent) as long as they eventually get over them. They'll probably get tired of Queen and U2 by the next album.

My world girl, I love you girl yeah. /sixnumberonesandamovie Like? Didn't mean to come across as narrow as that, was pointing in the direction of typical teen girls that like the likes of Rihanna, One Direction & Twilight. ie. NSC. Say what you want but that song was created for the audience Twilight is intended for. And Guiding Light & Invincible being the power ballads. The latter being acceptable because of the riffage. Seaking
She isn't a teenage girl? Yes she is but she sure as hell isn't a power ballad. I really don't care who their influences are (to a certain extent) as long as they eventually get over them. They'll probably get tired of Queen and U2 by the next album. I don't think so. Queen covered quite a few genres. It seems like they are going to Queen Hot Space era. And when that happens. It's all over. We just have to run for the hills and never look back. muse maniac
Since when have the queen influences been an elephant in the room? Nobody shuts up about it. Edit: Didn't read any of the pages; redundant point.

Peter.
Which Muse songs do count as Queen influenced? USoE and Survival mostly. then we could count in TaB (?), Hoodoo(???), and Soldier's Poem. all awesome songs. Muse are great when they go Queeney. it sort of became a part of Muse's sound. Gareeh
TaB and Hoodoo no. Madness, Survival, USoE, in some respects IBTY, Bliss (possibly, less obvious although intro like Seven Seas of Rhye), Soldier's Poem.

muse maniac
You can here the influences in numerous songs, but I don't think they are a queen parody or anything. They sound like Muse. And I still can't hear U2 in any of their songs.

Gareeh
One song evidently inspired by U2. And it is quality.
