Dominic. Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Hahaha, despite all the mistakes I really like #1, but yeah, far too mny mistakes to get my vote! Also out of tune?
Seaking Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Hahaha, despite all the mistakes I really like #1, but yeah, far too mny mistakes to get my vote! Also out of tune? Well he gets credit for trying something ballsy.
Dominic. Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Well he gets credit for trying something ballsy. Exactly, I'm naff at tapping so thought it was actually well decent Apart from the fact it was shit but that's not the point!. Onto 3 now, 2 wasn't so impressed by
Lord MFC Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 Number 2 is pretty bad... sorry. Another Dark Shines repeat from round 1! Voted for Osaka Jam, loved it. Pretty sure I've guessed all the performers too
kueller Posted August 13, 2012 Posted August 13, 2012 I was really hoping for number one to forget the guitar solo and try to do the crazy as fuck synth parts. Also I think the QUALITY of last round scared me off from even bothering to try and enter.
Seaking Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Is the CoD one just the guitar or did he/she play all the parts?
Dominic. Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Is the CoD one just the guitar or did he/she play all the parts? I think unless Larry says then you'll have a difficult time finding out due to the anonymous shit and stuff
Lord MFC Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 I liked them all apart from 2. Found the last one really funny and quite entertaining while still being decent musically.
Guest Batman. Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 I think 6 is the best cover I've ever heard of any Muse song ever Retains the essence of the song, but with originality. Liked them all. The Assassin cover would've got my vote had it not been for the amazing MOTP one.
kueller Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Is the CoD one just the guitar or did he/she play all the parts? It sounds like everything was recorded. Anyways there are no separated audio stems for CoD so I doubt there was a backing track. Also, I think 2 would be better without that fucking tone. It could've been ok but I couldn't tell what was going on half the time.
Seaking Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 6 is wonderful! The first vocal line was really funny. The epicness in that voice is hilarious. That voice is more manly than Bellamy can even dream of. (Must be MFC)
Guest Batman. Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 I liked them all apart from 2. Found the last one really funny and quite entertaining while still being decent musically. Ignoring the tone, 2 was good I think.
Dominic. Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Ignoring the tone, 2 was good I think. Yeah it was ite, but it sounded so nasally and digital in the synth parts and then when the actual guitar parts came in it was so difficult to distinguish
kueller Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 Finishing up 3. Kinda wish the solo had gone all out tremolo picking like when Bellamy did it.

Will_ Posted August 14, 2012 Posted August 14, 2012 6 WHO ARE YOU Anyway, judgementings 1 - Crackin effort but obviously didn't come out well (BUT I KNOW WHY SO ITSOK) 2 - Not that impressed really... Tone, playing, bit out of tune 3 - Liked this a lot, maybe could've done with some impro but apart from that, well cool bruv 4 - Very good again (I can spot you every time now ), liked the background parts too! 5 - Bit out timewise but apart from that, muchas decent, nice job! 6 - Whoever you are, I love you, vote pls
Larry. Posted August 14, 2012 Author Posted August 14, 2012 Is the CoD one just the guitar or did he/she play all the parts? drums and bass were done by MIDI and the guitars (electric and acoustic) were both recorded with mics etc.

MoTP was crazy though. I want that man to read me lullabies.
