Cyfo_Diaz
wow, I love the prep involved in that build, templates etc. I'm more of a cut first and "oh shit thats wrong" later kinda guy. Those buttons are very cool looking. What have you used to hold the sides and top on?

Neil.
yes quite badly too, i was gutted when i did but ne going back with the mirror correct me if i'm wrong, but couldn't you eventually replace the neck on it so that they would align? I think i'm right in saying that if the pickups/body is correct, replacing the neck is not a major deal by comparison.
IntelligentAl
Headstock pics? Does it have the auto tune thing?

Would be easier to replace the mirror top and re-route the pick ups a few mm lower.

Does it have the auto tune thing? nope, i've done nothing, still the old laser neck and headstock. i really have no needd for an auto tune thing, and they're not really sold as stock items now Gibson own them Would be easier to replace the mirror top and re-route the pick ups a few mm lower. not a bad idea Phill. i have leftover material...when i got 5mins

Phill
You'd be surprised. I got the tops off mine a couple of times. First one that was really shattered was an absolute nightmare, had to keep bashing a chisel between the wood and mirror and working each section off, but the other one from my XY mirror guitar came off pretty easy. It might have snapped into 2 or 3 pieces down one of the cracks all ready in it.
L32
That guitar is amazing. Don't know if anyone asked this before, which program do you use for the design? Waiting to see the cover with your guitars.

Phill
Haha yeah chambering is a good call. If you're worried about contact for the mirror, route a loads of grid lines so there's still plenty to glue to.
