redbullcat Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I'd like to see a song with Chris on vocals in The 2nd Law. Who agrees?
Hat Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 There's a pretty big thread on this subject already. Matt has suggested it, Chris hasn't seemed that interested. At least in the past.
Hyper Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 well if rumors are that Chris wrote piano-based song, may be he will sing it? Follow me is the one about babies , so might be that one?
Jobby Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 well if rumores are that Chris wrote piano-based song, may be he will sing it? Follow me is the one about babies , so might be that one? A duet? Like a back and forth thing between the two?
dekza Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 well if rumores are that Chris wrote piano-based song, may be he will sing it? Follow me is the one about babies , so might be that one? where did you hear these rumours? and what's Fllow me?
kueller Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 where did you hear these rumours? and what's Fllow me? One of the songs from the 2nd Law that I think Matt said was going to be about his kid.

Hyper Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 One of the songs from the 2nd Law that I think Matt said was going to be about his kid. not about his kid, about having babies in general, so may be Chris-related
Seaking Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 It's worked in past. U2 and Queen have done it numerous times (among many bands). One persons sings verses and the other choruses.
FabriPav Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 It's worked in past. U2 and Queen have done it numerous times (among many bands). One persons sings verses and the other choruses. Linkin Park had success with this "technique" in their first two albums

Seaking Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Like this? [YT]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySlhwhyl--c[/YT] Yup.
Seaking Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I would like that. I would like a song as good as Hyper Music.
HannahG123 Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I think one track would be nice, fun, something more edgy where he can belt out those higher notes. But I wouldn't want them to get too seriously with it. I love chris' voice, but I feel that - naturally - Matt's is essential to making muse songs, sound like muse. Ok that sounds incredibly obvious but you know what I mean..
kueller Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I would like a song as good as Hyper Music. It's called most of Origin of Symmetry
HannahG123 Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 I mean the rumours about Christ writing piano-based songs? Since when has Jesus been in muse!? Sorry.. Follow me will be sung by Matt as when he told people it was about 'having a baby and that' he told them he had just been doing vocals for it. Apparently.
Beibi Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Follow me will be sung by Matt as when he told people it was about 'having a baby and that' he told them he had just been doing vocals for it. Apparently. You are right.
Vixna Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 It would be cool to have some chris vocals in The 2nd Law but a song where they would both sing like in the glaciers part of smbh.

Bumpypotato Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I'd actually like a System of a Down-esque relationship between them, where Serj (Matt) is the lead vocalist and does the most singing, but Darron (Chris) does a fair bit of backing, both live and in the studio, as well as singing lead on certain parts of songs and sometimes even a complete one.
