Round 3: Any song from Black Holes & Revelations, The Resistance, or The 2nd Law.

Yuss?

Then we just need to decide how voting is going to work

Yeah, apart from the one song from each album in Round 4, should just be two or three songs that are considered the most challenging, from all the albums

Might join in, but i have some ideas...

We should try to have the same backingtracks available per instrument... e.g.:

drum/bass track for guitar players

drum/guitar track for bass players

bass/guitar track for drummers

drum/bass track for piano players

(etc etc)

That way we could

a) make it equal

b) mix the clean tracks of the instruments together to make collaboration covers out of it

It would make it a bit more than just a competition.

We could mix the best entries for each individual instrument to make the final cover, or just mix a few versions that would match each other soundwise. I see some benefits in there, but you should keep your recorded track as well as a backed up track.

That'd be good, but a right pain in the arse in terms of finding them

Like the collab idea though

I think its a good idea, but it could prevent any alternate arrangements, but I could just be talking for myself  I have some pretty cool ideas :)
