JimboMansonMB-1
I think everyone should be required to do a dubstep cover of the 2nd Law trailer
Dominic.
I think everyone should be required to do a dubstep cover of the 2nd Law trailer That's the entrance requirement before anyone is allowed to take part. Sorts out the MFCs from the GSKs

matthijs
Might join in, but i have some ideas... We should try to have the same backingtracks available per instrument... e.g.: drum/bass track for guitar players drum/guitar track for bass players bass/guitar track for drummers drum/bass track for piano players (etc etc) That way we could a) make it equal b) mix the clean tracks of the instruments together to make collaboration covers out of it
Dominic.
b) mix the clean tracks of the instruments together to make collaboration covers out of it This point in particular has caught my eye. Would be really cool
matthijs
It would make it a bit more than just a competition. We could mix the best entries for each individual instrument to make the final cover, or just mix a few versions that would match each other soundwise. I see some benefits in there, but you should keep your recorded track as well as a backed up track.
