Do we really need a new thread for this?

 

I'm excited to hear something new and different. The trailer's clearly giving us the extremes of sound on the album, so it will be interesting to hear what's in between the classical influence and the pseudo-dubstep as I'm now going to call it :LOL:.

There's no option for "very optimistic, but have no idea whether it will be a favourite"

 

How can we predict that after a short trailer?

 

Anyway no suitable polling option but that's how I feel about it at present. :)

I'm sort of optimistic. It sounds like something new for them, I like the 'dubstep' bit from the trailer and it sounds like it's going to be a pretty energetic album akin to OOS and BHAR. At the same time though, it could be shit so I'm not getting my hopes up too much.

More optimistic than I was a week ago.

 

With these. Probably won't be a classic but I'm expecting to enjoy it more than was a few days back.

Yeah, optimistic. S'only a preview but I love what I heard, and it matches with what people that know the band are saying. And the band themselves ofc

 

Still, gonna reserve full judgment until at least the single

This is the first time I've been a proper Muse fan around the time of an album release (I really became a proper fan couple of months after TR came out), but I know all of Muse's songs inside out and for The 2nd Law I am seriously pretty optimistic! I'm looking forward to hearing at least the first single but it won't stop from buying it anyway!

 

Might even be their best so far, if I may say so myself!
