Ethanb08
I was checking out some videos of their first show at Montpellier... looks awesome, the intro with Unsustainable just goes insane with the lighting and the pyramid is hidden up above in the arena roof sort of with the upper lighting rig and is lowered a song or so later and it moves around in different shapes as the show progresses... its pretty awesome. Can't wait till February when they come to Edmonton!
Melissaaa
Much more relieved now after seeing a few photos and videos. Couldn't get time off work when the tickets originally went on sale But got a pair of rear view seats at the first O2 London gig. I've sat there before, for one of the two O2 nights on the Resistance tour and the view was wicked. Anyone else got rear view seats? I think we'll be absolutely fine! And it's awesome facing the crowd too
garseys
Probably their best arena stage design (far better than the pillars). Looks like theres an ungodly amount of lighting behind the stage aswell, the light show on it's own would be incredible for most bands
mjartrod
The stage is absolutely spectacular. Despite what it may seem like a complex structure, the pyramid doesn't take any attention from the band at all, it doesn't detract from the music... it blends perfectly with the rest of the stage and the way they use it as video screens really works I was a bit afraid they would go too far (you never know with Muse ) but I'd say this is the best stage they've ever had for touring. The visuals for Reading and now this...
Arkhi-Tekton
Hello boys, I don’t know if I’m writing this in the right place in order that it comes to the managers of Muse's scenography. I’m a lover of the art of the scenography and lighting of the big spectacles and I think that your putting in scene is EXCELLENT, MAGNIFICENT, IMPRESSIVE, INCREDIBLE, GORGEOUS, SPECTACULAR … But as an spectator and great fan, I think that the stage should be a little bit higher in order that people who sees the concert from the track could see well. I’m not too small, but between mobiles, arms and heads, it is impossible to see what is going on in the stage (certainly that the whole top scenography and the lighting sees perfectly). But we can’t see the screens of below and the boys, at least that they raised in the higher parts. Another thing that seems to me that it might change is the location of some lights behind Matt when he touches the piano, because when you try to look, you dazzle yourself because of the light and can’t see him. A thing that I was charmed with, was the game of lights of laser, and I really appreciate (and I’m grateful) that they are very well positioned and don’t give ever the spectators. It seems to me that it was spectacular. Well, I have the obligation to give my opinion in order that it uses as help. Greetings.
Green Mamba
As much as I hate bringing a dead thread to life, I thought the techies might appreciated this. Didn't realise they recycled some of the Resistance Staging. http://www.etnow.com/news/2012/11/brilliant-stages-for-muses-second-law-tour Also, some interesting photos pre gig. http://eventelevator.de/medien/bilder/muse-live-2012/muse-live-2012-
greatkingrat
Following the new found love by Matt about all things U2, I expect a sort of "Heart" catwalk in the stage design, like the one U2 has been using for the last 12 years.

Thanks for the links! Kind I've wish I'd made it to one of these tours, but it's just too expensive for me now, with everything else I have to pay for. greatkingrat
Sober up. They only used that heartshaped stage during the Elevation Tour in 2001 Sorry, I should have been more specific. Elevation Tour: heart shaped catwalk Vertigo Tour: Torc shaped catwalk. (Heart opens at the front) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Torques_de_Burela._Museo_Provincial_de_Lugo.jpg 360 Tour: Circle shaped catwalk. (Heart turns into a circle). As I remember, some people in the U2 forums were still calling the area inside the catwalk, "the heart", in the 360 tour discussions. Hopefully a similar enclosure will feature in next year Muse shows.

Mainly because he's instrument free for only like 2 songs and he can't make much use of the catwalk when he's playing the guitar.

iceman2321
Does the new arena stage being used for Mexico have a longer catwalk out into the audience, or is that just me?
