dekza
I'm hoping for something simple but effective where the setlists can be more varied and the band won't be much restricted by the visual concept of the gigs. Plus I think it would a much more human touch to the gigs, not so orchestrated and perfect. It would much more about the band than about the show. That is what I hope for.. They really weren't restricted by the stage design on the last tour, it was a bullshit excuse. The only thing the towers would have really restricted would be their movement and the stadium stage design didn't restrict the setlist in any way. MatthieuBelAmi
Based on the trailer, the title of the album and the (working) titles of the songs : Huge robots with red eyes, lasers everywhere, apocalyptic stuff everywhere, aliens, a giant sun and moon , a lot of desolated buildings, some astronaut, a giant red nuclear button, people from "Wall Street" everywhere on the walls... Will be enough for now
Dave.
I strangely think we'll be far more stripped back this time round.

OriginOfGeorgia
Dom's just said on XFM they want the stage to be an all seeing eye, which breaks apart and moves around the crowd.

FearAndPanic
Dom's just said on XFM they want the stage to be an all seeing eye, which breaks apart and moves around the crowd. Don't forget that it shows videos and turns inside out.
forevermusic
So they're basically trying to fit a bigger version of the 2010 stadium show into arenas. This should be interesting... also, if this is considered a smaller show, what are they planning for stadiums.

_A_
Longer and better setlists that's all I need. *Simple stage set-up & props and cool lightings & effects will be nice*
Arcade
So much for going back to more intimate shows! depends on what their and the fans definition of an intimate venue is.. an Arena, imo is NOT an intimate venue lads. Go back 10 years ago, have a small-ass budget and fit that in to a show in a venue like Kentish Town the Forum/Astoria/Shepherds Bush Empire.. thats what we want... just a handful of those would go down well. NixonNUFC
I don't understand why they'd want it to be an all seeing eye when they're 'Anti-Illuminati'...
kueller
I don't understand why they'd want it to be an all seeing eye when they're 'Anti-Illuminati'... I assume the same reason Slayer puts pentagrams everywhere even though they're not Satanic. It's just interesting to them.

Lnx
I can easily see some colorful, flashing cables/twines (reference to the album cover) as a part of stage design.

Jobby
Just noticed the picture at the bottom looks like the stage they're describing. forevermusic
As much as the popular consensus is Muse should play more stripped-down shows, I like the thought of them playing inside this pyramid that see the walls open up at the start of the show to reveal the band playing inside. I'm probably thinking more ambition then what they actually have.
FabriPav
I think the pyramid will be over the stage, they definitely won't play inside it. The towers were scary enough.
