Would you want remixes (old-meaning) on a reissue album?

I recently got the deluxe version of "Jailbreak" by Thin Lizzy, and thought the remix work on Emerald and the title track (which was geared to replicating the live versions in the studio) really improved them. Which got me thinking, what does anyone think about the possibility of this being done with Muse's albums? Particularly given how plenty of their songs improve live, I think this could work quite nicely.

The little licks Matt sometimes does during the end riff of Knights, Bliss falsetto for sure, the riff outro for Uprising and probably a better/proper solo for Supermassive. Maybe add in the sustained notes during the verses for Sunburn that Matt did in Dublin 2006?

There's not many things I'd like them to add, to be honest. That's sort of what makes the live versions more special.

I don't like the idea that they add the live adaptions of songs to a studio recording, well, cause it's fucking stupid. Part of the novelty of seeing a band such as Muse live as that it's not a live version of studio recordings, but different. Why take that away by trying to improve old songs a bit?

As far as remixes go, I see no point.

Remember that picture you posted in the best climax thread? The one where half of Take A Bow looks like a brick of a waveform? Yeah, it could use a remaster

The biggest problem with TaB is the intro though.

Really? I'd say it's when the guitar properly kicks in, that hurts my ears. What's so bad about the intro?

I think the whole song sounds surprisingly good considering the volume and lack of dynamics.

But the intro has very obvious high pitched frequencies that should have been removed; I have no idea how they let those pass.

The intro has very quiet vocals in it does it not? I'm sure you can hear them if you turn up the volume.
