Boz
Chris: I've heard that people become impregnated just by looking at you. Is this true? Matt: How much for you and the gang to play at my birthday party? Dom: Do you keep all of your 'NME sexiest male' awards on show at your house/ when touring? Jobby
As far as the PIB lyrics go, people should try and bear in mind the original lyrics: I've exposed your lies oh baby Don't wanna break your compromise Don't you know that I'm changing I'm cleansing everything To forget your love My plug in baby Crucified my enemies When I'm tired of giving woah God was in me In unbroken virgin realities I'm tired of living Don't confuse 'Cause babe you're gonna lose your own game Change me, replace the envying To forget your love My plug in baby Crucified my enemies When I'm tired of giving woah God was in me In unbroken virgin realities I'm tired of living And your truths are coming in And I feel broken next to you I've been in trouble Baby it's right I've seen your loving Mine is gone And I've seen your loving SFTLP but this seems to be more about a girl than a guitar. The original lyrics probably hold more truth towards the actual meaning of the song.

kueller
The demo lyrics to PiB, although almost completely different, show that it might have something to do with technology and maybe computer-related, which wasn't very uncommon theme amongst bands when it was written. My point exactly. It seems to reference "virtual reality" (technology) and "love" (could be relationship or sex) The other big clue is that Matt has never given a straight answer as to what it's about. Knowing that it's one of the songs that put Muse on the map, he likely knows that (if it IS about virtual sex) he may offend some people. Muse tries pretty hard not to offend anyone. He's already admitted he used to sex-chat girls on the internet hasn't he? God, I always laugh at the prospect By the way, Kueller, cheers for mentioning the demo version. I'd never listened to until about ten minutes ago and it's fantastic! My favourite version by far

Has he? I certainly wouldn't be surprised at all whatsoever. It's not hard to put the pieces together and figure out that Matt is .... ummmm.... extremely enthusiastic about sex. jdeboer01
Back OT. I'd really like to know what wines Matt is into. I know he likes reds. I'm a wine lover too, so I'm curious.

I dunno. /Ontopic Chris - Do you ever wish you were the guitarist for the band? Also, if there was one guitar that you could have that you don't, what would it be? Dom - What was the best thing about being a young, famous band? Matt - Do you think Muse has left a legacy that other bands will hope to follow? If not, do you still hope to create that legacy? I'd LOVE to see him play guitar on a few tunes (2nd guitar to Matt), and Morgan pick up bass, or play a bass lines on keyboard!

supernova14
He'd have to start from the very beginning, I bet that'd be tough on him. Oh well. It's like, "Matt, how do you play a G major scale?" "Umm, like this, I'll play it at 60 BPM for you first." -Plays scale- "It's too slow!" -Plays scale 170 BPM- Chris: I've heard that people become impregnated just by looking at you. Is this true? Matt: How much for you and the gang to play at my birthday party? Dom: Do you keep all of your 'NME sexiest male' awards on show at your house/ when touring? Half jokey half serious I would love to see their reactions to those questions. If I tried to ask Chris that, I would burst out laughing midway. I think there's better equipment available these days. I'd prefer a "real bass" too, fwiw.

How many years later is this? and, he only uses the keyboard for the intro and bridge. Curious. Thanks for posting the great video, though. Jobby
I want to ask Matt about his impeccable fashion sense. I think he just has an "IDGAF" mind set when it comes down to clothes. I suppose it's a respectable aspect though; not caring if you look bad or not (pasta tits).

With some of the stuff he's worn before, there's no way he couldn't have gone out of his way to look....... ummmmm......... very noticeable in an "interesting" way. And one of my faves. This ensemble is just genius:

That's the traditional Ukrainian shirt called a Vushuvanka. Btw I deleted one of the pictures in your original post as we don't allow pap pictures especially if partners or children are on those.
