Acoustic drums are much more dynamic which can give a much punchier feel. This. I'd use some electronic pads scattered around the kit for percussion/etc that is obviously electronic/classic sounds (909 etc). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
cheddatom Posted December 14, 2011 Share Posted December 14, 2011 you can always blend triggers with acoustic sounds too - a sub bass sample triggered on the bass drum for example would be cool.
