GloriousAssassin
Ok,so,I have a project on my Music class. Our teacher want us to pick one of our favourite love song to sing it in class and ofc when i heard that I thought of Muse. The thing is that i don't know which to pick because: 1.It must have quite easy to understand lyrics(remember I'm from Gweece) 2.quite easy to sing(no very high or vewy low notes) 3.and it has to sound good with classical guitar. Any ideas?
Cindykt-OvertureThief
Unintended. Gotta be.
Whatsername
Maybe Starlight?
Jobby
Maybe Starlight? Doubt it'd sound good with a classical guitar. All I can think of is either Unintended or FAWY. EDIT: Oh and Shine as well. Also, does it have to be a happy love song? If not I'd suggest Uno, HTAILY and Sing For Absolution.

diamond_writer
NSC!! No, but totally, FAWY or maybe Blackout.
Cindykt-OvertureThief
Naw, Blackout isn't a love song is it? I would like to hear THAT on an acoustic guitar.
Stewez26
Naw, Blackout isn't a love song is it? I would like to hear THAT on an acoustic guitar.Pretty sure it's got nothing to do with love. It's about how life goes to quickly... or something. I haven't read an official interpretation yet.
Hat
Blackout has nothing to do with love, and calling Uno a love song is a bit...no, just no.
Jobby
calling Uno a love song is a bit...no, just no. It can be interpreted like this: A man fell in love with a woman. She didn't want him. The man felt very hurt and now hates her because of it. Woman starts to fall in love with the man after a while. The man tells her to "Fuck off" (the entire song is one big "fuck you"). It can be a love song. Just a very bitter one.

It always sounded like a love song to me. To each their own.

Well it's a song that's talking about love... Each to their own on this subject though. I class any song that is based around the notion of love a love song, be it in a negative or positive aspect. Gotta be. Maybe Starlight? Those are some good ones.Actually,Starlight and Unintented were the 2 first songs I had in mind. But what worries me is that no one is good enough at English and I'll have to sing my greek choice:stunned: What class is this? ...I have a project on my Music class... mayala9210
After reading the title I immediately thought FAWY. Unintended works too. I know you said you wanted a Muse song but Keane has pretty good love songs. A bit too much cheese sometimes but it's good.
Jobby
FAWY is fun to play on guitar as well.
kueller
I've never had to sing in music class, so I wasn't sure. And I can't read apparently.
goti
It always sounded like a love song to me. To each their own. I thought it was a love song too... I was thinking Sing For Absolution is a good love song but I think it's a little difficult to sing it... I didn't know you could sing! Good luck with that! Easily wouldn't sound good on classical guitar. Go for FAWY or Sing For Absolution. For me, FAWY is considerably harder to sing though.

FAWY, harder than Sing For Absolution? lol SFA is pretty much as hard as Muse songs get when it comes to vocals.
Jobby
FAWY, harder than Sing For Absolution? lol SFA is pretty much as hard as Muse songs get when it comes to vocals. I'm thinking of the acoustic version they used to play (that's the version I play and listen to). That was tuned down two steps I believe? That's probably why I find it easier. With this thread being about suggestions for an acoustic song I thought it was appropriate. TBH I've always found SFA easier than FAWY even when it's the album version. FAWY is just impossible for me, don't know why.

I can't actually so I hope me and some friends will create a group for this week so they'll cover my voice:chuckle: Easily wouldn't sound good on classical guitar. Go for FAWY or Sing For Absolution. I think SFA is a little easier 'cause my voice is better for high notes but, well,I find both songs difficult since I'm not Bellamy if you hadn't noticed:p
