Jobby Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 Just got Unintended CD2 in the post today actually, that's got a pretty cool cover.
Jobby Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 ^ That's definitely my favourite. Never understood what the fuck's going on in it though.
MuseTheMuscleMuseum Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 reminds me of aqua teen hunger force style animation
MuseTheMuscleMuseum Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 BHaR era is my favorite group of cover art for the singles

Jobby Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 I dont understand the art for FG/HM, nor Showbiz for that matter Showbiz just is what it is to me, I don't mind if it doesn't make sense. But when I see a black and white woman in her front garden with a giant can of beans that has white grass coming out of it which is being grated(?) into green grass that's going into a pair of shoes with some neatly folded shirts next to them, I get a little bit confused.
FabriPav Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 I like the Bliss one very much, don't really know why.
Raiko Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 BHaR era is my favorite group of cover art for the singles I absolutely hate the Supermassive and Starlight singles artwork. It's like a lot of effort into a bad idea. The Starlight Vinyl is cool though.
Riveon Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 The thread's about "coolest", not whatever that would be defined as.
Banksy. Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 No-one has said the SFA covers I always thought they were by far the best. [spoiler=Best Covers] The video's awesome too.
BigDZerilli Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 But when I see a black and white woman in her front garden with a giant can of beans that has white grass coming out of it which is being grated(?) into green grass that's going into a pair of shoes with some neatly folded shirts next to them, I get a little bit confused. Hahaha, thats so true! I bet not even Matt would know what this is about.
Jazzthief Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 The best album cover is Absolution The best single cover is Knights of Cydonia vinyl.
Spectrum IV Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 The thread's about "coolest", not whatever that would be defined as. It's trippy and thought-provoking, I'd say that's pretty kewl.
Couture Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 The best album cover is Absolution The best single cover is Knights of Cydonia vinyl. This.
BigDZerilli Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Nah, best album cover is Origin surely? Agreed! Then when they cracked out those giant poles at Leeds/Reading.... brilliant.
Jobby Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Agreed! Then when they cracked out those giant poles at Leeds/Reading.... brilliant. Â The bit that got me was when Matt did that sustained note after the piano of New Born like always and the big screen turned into Origin. I went from to to
Alec Ferris Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 I'd say Absolution's my third favourite artwork of all time, just behind Year Zero and Superunknown (screaming elf!)
BigDZerilli Posted December 3, 2011 Posted December 3, 2011 The bit that got me was when Matt did that sustained note after the piano of New Born like always and the big screen turned into Origin. I went from to to Man you just put my exact facial expressions into those faces! After the last one I then went into complete New Born frenzy mode, that giant curtain through which we could only see their shadows at the start + Tom Waits... brilliant!
Alec Ferris Posted December 5, 2011 Posted December 5, 2011 That was flat out amazing. I can't hear "What's He Building?" without getting the flashback and goosebumps.
