skyblue* Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 If you were to be deprived of all Muse songs, other than those on one album, which album would you choose to listen to for the rest your life and why?
WutDaFucksy Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Absolution because I enjoy every song on it! And it easily has some of their best too.
MartinSM Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I was going to say Absolution, it's my favourite and I think strongest. But then I realised I couldn't live in a world without Citizen Erased, so I'll have to say Origin Of Symmetry.
Jobby Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Gotta be Origin. I've listened to it all the way through more than any other album I own and I've never gotten bored of it or skipped a song. But, thinking about it, I might choose The Resistance (don't shoot me ) because I think it's a fairly diverse album and I'm going through a phase of really enjoying it at the moment
TrebleRose689 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 OoS My favorite album of theirs by a landslide. A friend of mine who only knows a handful of Muse songs asked me for a list of some "good ones to check out". I looked down after writing it, and realized that I'd included about half of OoS
Dominic. Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 Probs not Showbiz I could not listen to BH&R forever. It's jsut got that very compressed sound Probably OoS
hoodoo oz Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Absolution. I hope I never have to make such a choice, though.
Geobane Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 My choice is between Absolution and OoS... But I think I will choose Oos, because it is a masterpiece, musically
mayala9210 Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 Origin of Symmetry. Only album where I don't think of skipping a song. Would have gone with Absolution but TOAD and FAWY would be skipped frequently.
Princess of Promise Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 I am torn big time between OoS and BHaR. Both are just . But I have to choose one where I don't skip songs and my neighbor Jessie ruined Screenager for me forever (very long story), so I have to choose BHaR.
QubiQ Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Absolution. But that kind of choice is not welcome though.
drawakangaroo Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 I think BHaR is the only one I wouldn't get tired of quickly.
Gohenko Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 My favourite albums are Absolution and OoS, but in the end I'd choose BHaR anyway.
whdbsqls Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 def. absolution, but maybe black holes and revelation too .
LyraSilvertongue Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Absolution, definitely. But leaving behind OoS and BH&R would be incredibly tough.
Dominic. Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Origin, silly question. Well judging by the variety of answers obviously not
paranoiawilldestroy Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Uh... Uh... Showbiz. Fuck it. Showbiz, definitely Showbiz. First album I ever loved, gonna pour myself a brandy and go and listen to it from start to finish right now. Go Muse.
Finn. Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Very hard to choose, all the albums have strong points, so i can't decide.. i could put all his records in a mp3, then i will hear that cd forever
zomuse Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 Either OoS or The Resistance. Origin is just awesome but The Resistance is so diverse that I wouldn't get bored as easily.
Krushd Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 OoS or Absolution. I can't/don't want to choose one over the other
Whatsername Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I love all of the albums too much! I would just cheat and create my own CD with my favorite songs from each album and keep that.
