Uccellino
Didn't CE have the words MK Ultra come on the screen too? Or was that another song? Either way it got me excited thinking we might hear it later on Yeah it did, at Leeds I said 'MK Ultra!' and some dude nearby looked at me like I was mad and I had to explain it said MK Ultra and no I didn't think CE was MK Ultra! lil'blulalo
The only thing that looks hopeful about this is that the BBC radio broadcast was 1 hr 15 mins, and on the time schedule on the france radio site its said "Muse Reading set 20.00 - 22.00" implying two hours. Also, there was a french radio station that were exclusively given the rights to broadcast the whole set from stade de france live (which knowone was able to recorded), and then another radio station that played uprising, smbh, and new born from stade de france. Does anyone know if this radio station is either of those two that played the stade de france tracks. oh and someone asking the station how they got permission and they replied with "because we're cool".. so hmm..not sure.. its hope i guess, better than no hope. Hi ! I'll never thank you enough for the great job you do and how much it is necessary for stupid nuts like me who can't even upload more than one song within 15 days and see the result is ... epic fail ! (also need help from my friend Seb to download... It's a shame ) If my memory doesn't fail.... by the time of SDF it was Virgin radio who were given the exclusivity but they're no more. I think I'm not wrong saying that Oui fm was the first radio to broadcast Muse at their debut (I mean, showbiz/beginning of OoS era) So I wouldn't be surprised they'd have managed to get the rights for this event. (Anyway, I'm someone desperatly hopefull ) Can't wait for next sunday !!

levichea
look what we can found ... dark shines visuals from Leeds / Reading http://vimeo.com/29083643 epic, isn't it? EDIT : http://colinfong.net/blog/ Dork Shines So earlier in the year Brooke and I were asked to make live visuals for Muse’s upcoming tour ar Leeds and Reading festival, based on our work for Molecules by Russia It’s Winter. Before taking on this project, we had already made another shadow puppet video, and were thinking of ways to make things technically better this time around. The first time we filmed in a bedroom, with a shower curtain stretched across a painters frame, and between two storage units to prop it up. We used a house lamp to light it, and puppeteering was like a game of twister. For this job we were given a piece of artwork from the album Origin of Symmetry and told to base the video on it. After drafting a rough storyline and 30 second test footage it was approved. After a month of drawing, tracing and cutting robots, friends and myself in weird poses were finally ready to shoot. With the knowledge that we were actually going to be paid this time around, we hired a couple of people to help us puppeteer this time around over three nights in the living room. Brooke and I also bought some Timber from bunnings so we could give our shower curtain screen some legs this time around, so Puppeteering wouldn’t be such a pain. While the end results aren’t as good as Limbo, I’m pretty happy with the results, although if we had time, I would have liked to have given the robots more joints and the mosh bit crowd limbs. At the end of the day we figured most people would be paying attention to the band anyway. And this is our video at Leeds- edited for timing. Although the narrative is gone now, it looks so good up on the big screen that we didn’t really care. I’d also love to give a special shout out to our crew Patrick Gatling & Shannon Howat for helping us make this video, and to Simon and Clare for getting us the job! Here : http://www.ouifm.fr/muse-live-at-reading-festival we can read in the comment section (at the bottom of the page) : jesselja - 16 septembre 2011 à 14 h 35 min « le concert dans son intégralité »: Juste une question, comment vous avez réussi à avoir les droits alors que la BBC ne l’a pas eu?! and the radio answering : OUÏ Fm Radio Rock - 16 septembre 2011 à 16 h 15 min La réponse : parce qu’on est très forts I translate in English : jesselja - 16 September 2011 at 14 h 35 min "The whole performance": One question : how did you manage to get the diffusion rights whereas BBC radio didn't ? and the radio answering : OUÏ Fm Radio Rock - 16 September 2011 at 16 h 15 min The answer : because we're very good. Sorry for my bad English I'm French and I don't write very often in English. But it looks like we can be optimist.

mapoftheglorious
Any more news on this broadcast? :S Its tonight. Keeping my expectations low though to avoid dissapointment. As of recently someone asked how they managed to get the full set as the BBC didnt have it all, and they replied "because we're stronger". Also, abit of back info on the radio station, throughout the years right from when Muse were getting started they gave them alot of publicity and have had numerous interviews with them over the years and in france this is one of the main radio stations (apparantly), so as of the moment it does look very promising, but again... keeping my expectations low so anything new is a suprise. I'll be recording the set (as im sure others will be too). edit: they also exclusively aired some tracks of theirs when playing at stade de france last year.
