My thoughts too, just seemed like people had some sort of inside info.

The only things we know:

Hugh doesn't wanna do any more chrome guitars as they're a nightmare, which rules out the bomber guitars

There was some talk a while ago of doing a CE1 guitar run, but nothing is in concrete, was probably just a random idea

Musecasters... what's the chrome MB-1 referring to?

The mirror X-Y? (or chrome kaoss  )

yes, sorry should of called it Mirror kaoss, too much in a hurry at work.

what have you voted for James if you don't mind me asking?

no, just i thought either 007 or chrome bomber would be ace for another if they do a different one. i like the look of the 7 string but i can't see much of a market for a signature 7 string that was only used on up to 2 songs

What was the second one? :$

And Casinocaster has only been used for 2 songs too so rule that one out as well if you like! :chuckle:

execution commentary i think. the casinocaster is used for 2 songs live, but being 6 string it can be used for pretty much any song, but the 7 string tuning can't as no low E

Yes and no.

Yes, they should release an E shape with that finish, as Hugh as said in the past it's one of his favourites, and a lot of people love the finish, so having an E series to go with the MA, etc, would be a great idea and I think would be very well received.

No, it should not be a signature guitar. It wasn't even built for him, so why should any future release have anything to do with him. As I said, it should just be an E series to go with the MA series. But yeah, they should release it anyway! ;)

Has anyone ever done a cracked mirror top with normal mirror back and sides? Or...full body cracked mirror?

That would be mega heavy I can imagine.

I would have voted M1D1 but its pretty much the MB1. (Hence wanted to transform my mb1)

Voted original Bomber for actual wish

Voted 007 for practical wish.

Simno! He's alive!

Voted for the Bomber and 007 although the Bomber isn't possible without the chrome and 007 would be stupidly expensive if it was made

Nah, they'd probably edit it a'la the DL-1 for practicality's sake. I could see models being:

Hi Jim, thanks for the inquiry. Pricing and options for the 007-1 are as follows:

Manson Signature Guitars 007-1 Blackie pricing:

Standard 007-1 Guitar:

Alder Body

Select Birdseye Maple neck

Rosewood fretboard, side dots only

Matt Black finish

Custom copper mini-scratchplate

Gotoh 510 HAP tuners and hardware

Seymour Duncan Hot P90 neck pickup

Choice of Manson's/BKP MBK3 or MBK2 bridge pickup

Manson's Hiscox Hardshell case

£2999

Options include:

-Fernandes FSK-401 Sustainer driver (installed above neck pickup) add £299

-internal Fuzz Factory add £299

-internal Phaser add £199

-GraphTech Ghost piezo system add £399

-internal custom MIDI-control strip add £399

As per the DL-1, custom hardware may be added for an upcharge of £299 for the standard 007-1, £349 for internal Fuzz/Phase, and £399 for Fuzz, Phase, and piezo.

Regards,

Adrian[/Quote]

I doubt they'd offer the internal Wah Probe or the MIDI pickup, but I could see that being a realistic price range. Then again, a full-featured one would be £4599...

I'd say the sustainer would be standard. Unfourtunetly making it from mahogany would be too expensive (Matt says its too heavy but come on, his tiny) so korina maybe? The wah probe would probably be about £399. I doubt they would offer the piezo pick-up though. So full price would be (if it went with what I said) £4594 Which would probably be rounded off to $4599.

Also I'd guess instead of a batch of 25 they would be made in batches of 20 because of extra routing and more complex wiring.

Hugh said laser was possible, but hes not too keen because the cracked mirror can be different every time etc.

As long as the cracks were made in the same sort of way as the original laser, I'd have no problem with that.

And besides, this is a signature guitar with a cracked mirror finish. http://www.schecterguitars.com/International/Products/Guitar/Zacky-Vengeance-ZV-Mirror.aspx

I think having the cracks different every time will make each guitar feel that bit more unique.
