Killer Rabbit
Hexagon setup for LA Rising! Yay! I was going to be rather pissed if they had the fucking towers...again.
JessicaSarahS
Yay! I was going to be rather pissed if they had the fucking towers...again. I don't think it was possible to have towers that large for an outdoor festival. They usually have a bit more structure up top to hold lighting rigs and speakers on the sides. But the panels they used for Coachella/Voodoo were bland.
supernova14
Thanks for the interview, my Mom said it was on in the morning before she went to get breakfast for me and her, and I didn't go with her because I wasn't ready.

JessicaSarahS
i thought dom's hesitation over playing a full set on saturday was a little worrying Agreed. But I'll try to remain optimistic. (Don't let me down, Muse! )
Clunge
i thought dom's hesitation over playing a full set on saturday was a little worrying I don't care what Morello says; Muse will NOT be playing a full set. They're not headlining, Rage are. Muse will play just over an hour, I bet.
L.Valencia
I don't care what Morello says; Muse will NOT be playing a full set. They're not headlining, Rage are. Muse will play just over an hour, I bet. I remember hearing or reading somewhere that one of the requests Rage had for the "festival" was that EVERYONE had a full set. That's why the show begins at 3pm.
Clunge
Aye, but what constitutes a 'full set'? Duration? Production? Place on the bill? I've been to nine or ten all-day gigs promising 'full sets' but rarely, if ever, have any band making an appearance played a full set as you might witness at their own show. It's just logical - time constraints play a huge part and Rage will get the largest allotted time as they top of the pile and rightly so. I do, however, think Muse will get longer than a normal non-headline slot so perhaps 13-15 songs as opposed to 10-12. I 'spose if they play 15 songs, one might consider that a full set from Muse who play short sets at the best of times . They need to learn a lesson or two from Mr Grohl and co... We'll find out on the 30th I guess!
JessicaSarahS
so perhaps 13-15 songs. So, standard Muse setlist length? *edit - just saw your edit. For the record, Rage plays around 13-15 for their standard shows as well.
Clunge
Indeed they do. Have you been to a Rage gig though? I've seen them twice and believe me, 13-15 is enough . I nearly died at both - they don't have a piano section for everyone to calm down or songs like Undisclosed Desires and Resistance to ruin the vibe!
