I know that they're good musicians, but Dom almost certainly couldn't manage something like that with the same flair (most of the Muse drums are fairly easy/moderate) and I'm not convinced that Matt could emulate the weird vocals well enough. Way back when, I was listening to the beatles, chicago, jimi hendrix, edgar winter, boston, and a whole slew of others while my friends were obsessed with new kids on the block. I'm still a few decades behind people (had a whole classical music phase all throughout high school). Anyways - ELO, been listening to it last night and this morning, and I can't help thinking what great songs they'd be for Muse to cover, like: - Hold on Tight - Turn to Stone - Don't Bring Me Down - Roll Over Beethoven They've got vocal range, good beat, and just generally fun, but then again, I'm a music nerd.
