iwantamanson Posted April 23, 2011 Share Posted April 23, 2011 they tried to make a gold guitar for matt (he asked for one) and they used actual gold leaf paint and apparently it looked amazing but flaked away really easy and there was issue's with putting a clear coat on it or something due to it being so flakey! Do you know if these are going to have the same body shape as the MB-1? Bs Posted April 24, 2011 Share Posted April 24, 2011 Something else I also wondered about the DL-1s, as they're only having an aluminium top, and painted back and sides, like Matt's Ali Top, does that mean that the DL-1s will have the contoured shape for comfort at the back?
