xogirl
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! I live about an hour from Golden Gate Park! But I'm afraid we'll get the same set-list we've gotten for the last couple of years. I NEED OoS!! I really want to go to Leeds/Reading, but I just don't have the money right now, and the flights are really expensive. Anyway, yay for OL!

sprocketeer
One hour later and I'm able to relax a bit more, haha. I know the amount of meet-up stuff is getting excessive with all the festivals, but should I start a "Musers at Outside Lands" Facebook group (unless someone else wants to)? Or is it too early? This won't be as massive as Lolla in terms of Muser attendance, but we do have a few Musers who are unable to attend Lolla but live much closer to Outside Lands. Transportation looks like it's gonna be a pain for this one, especially with limited hotels around Golden Gate Park and a pricey pass for those who want to drive in. EDIT: Go ahead and add me, sprocketeer. (Should we list our real names also?)

supralover23
List on Page 1, perhaps? I'm also going We [read: you] could also edit the thread title for 8/
Tom//P
I guess we'll wait and see what Lolla gets, since we'll probably get the same (or possibly a slightly more OoS-ed) setlist. Are there any other gigs between us and R/L? It would be interesting if OL does get a more OoS inspired setlist than Leeds/Reading considering it was released 4-5 years later in the US. Actually what is more OoS if they're gonna play the whole album (fingers crossed!)?
Dockertae
The good thing for you guys with this I guess is that Muse will be at least almost done relearning all the old OOS songs at this point so you never know, maybe you'll get a rarity or two. Regarding transportation: It's much wiser if possible to get a hotel outside the city (even across the Bay is fine), but near a BART station, then just take BART in. Or maybe some SF residents can host people if you ask nicely Actually what is more OoS if they're gonna play the whole album (fingers crossed!)? Have you seen how fucked the US has been this tour? I think it'll be best to take Muni into the park. I'm thinking of riding my bike. Just have to find somewhere at least 5-8 miles in SF to ride from... Never thought I'd say that for a festival/concert. This is madness.

I know MUNI bus #5 and #28 get you to Golden Gate Park. If you take BART to the Powell station, you can catch MUNI #5 from there. I'm thinking of that instead of the bike option. It depends on how cheap I want to be...
Tom//P
Have you seen how fucked the US has been this tour? Everywhere has had their fair share of bad setlists. Well I hope you do get the rarities. I suppose there's a strong chance of some, given they have to rehearse them anyway.

sprocketeer
I'd prefer a FB group to a Banter thread but that's just me. Yeah, I think as it stands, we can deal with just a FB group since it's not nearly the crowd we have for Lolla. Went ahead and made one here. And here's the list with everyone so far, plus close friends I'm totally adding without their permission THE LIST agenthal xsunburnedx xogirl sprocketeer JessicaSarahS supralover23 Shlebee Sizzle'd melon Liz0_o I think it would be good to have everyone's real names listed as well, unless somebody's uncomfortable with that, then that's fine. I think I might stay at my friend's house in Hayward and use the Castro Valley BART station. The one in Richmond is way too scary for me. We should BART and MUNI together. Bailey Essrog
Biking in SF is fucking scary I had an awesome time biking in SF a few years ago. I don't remember all the places but we ended up going through Fisherman's Wharf, over the Golden Gate Bridge and into Sausalito. Maybe my favorite city biking experience.
