initialdylan
Surprisingly, no thread on this yet? Or have I not looked properly. Vote for Matt! http://www.nme.com/ratemy/205334/greatest-frontmen-and-women#
LyraSilvertongue
I think electrifying was a poor choice of word. Most of those aren't electrifying. Kurt Cobain is currently number 1 and he was very much not electifying.

There's no doubt that he is the most electrifying among the Top 10 atleast.
Gareeh
jimi wasn't a frontman, he had a backing band. kurt cobain is overrated, but that's another conversation i could write an essay on. so really it has to be freddy mercury?
Uccellino
I'd vote Matt on this one. He deserves it for stuff like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdrp0l2em-U imo

Should be: Freddy Mercury, Bruce Dickinson or Ronnie James Dio (Don't know if he's on there but if he's not he should be!)

This, I don't even bother with their polls anymore. They seem to have a new one every month anyway. But wait, is Jared Leto up on that list? I always enjoy giving 0 points or stars or whatever to that guy.

After 10 new polls per month to vote Matt, Dom or Muse, you'd think they realize that these polls don't mean anything. Does anyone even notice when someone wins? Zaphod Chizzlebrox
Really? That makes a great frontman for you? He DOES say at the end of the post that it's HIS opinion. Different strokes for different folks, Sippe.

An egotistical douche!

Zaphod Chizzlebrox
Yes? What in my post stated otherwise? My reaction is still "...really?" Why is your reaction like that though? Is it REALLY that unbelievable that someone might think Bellamy is a great frontman? Personally, whilst I don't think he's the best frontman, he is definitely a class above some of the dull boring frontmen out there who just stand at the mic and do sod all else. No, I think it's unbelievable that someone thinks he's the best frontman ever because of the shuffle.
Zaphod Chizzlebrox
No, I think it's unbelievable that someone thinks he's the best frontman ever because of the shuffle. Yes, you THINK (well, occasionally...) And they are entitled to their opinion without being harassed over it, are they not?

Gareeh
it was an epic tash. if only he was still alive. the only musician, and i mean only, whose death still hurts me a wee bit, because i never got to see them live. i've seen paul mccartney live and john lennon's death doesn't really bother me as the good music was behind them. and the foo fighters are amazing and nirvana were terrible live so that doesn't phase me either. anyway, enough crap. Gareeh
You know this how? it's what you call footage my dear. you don't always have to be there to know how good/bad it is. i recall they had to hire someone to whip their hair back and forth to engage with the crowd because kurt couldn't?
