Bumpypotato
Metal is a wide genre. (Metal is not only Extreme Metal) Micro Cuts - Trash Metal Survival- contains Metal riffage/ shredding Look, what I've found http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=47918&page=9 Doesn't change the fact Stockholm is heavier. FabriPav
I always thought Muse had 3 metal songs: Dead Star, Micro Cuts and In Your World, so I'd say those are the heaviest. still, being the heaviest doesn't mean being the best. (which is SS, obviously) In Your World metal? In Your World? Metal? Seriously?

DifferentPerson
Look, what I've found http://board.muse.mu/showthread.php?t=47918&page=9 Look what someone posted in that thread, in 2007: We can only hope they leave this commerical nonce-sense behind and release something decent next. I'm hoping for something heavy with strings (Kashmir-ish) or something like "War of the Worlds" or even just a back to basics heavy rock album with out all the synth shit. Seaking
What is your point? I never said CE or Survival are heavy throughout. My point is that the Germans are evil and that heavy metal is the devil's music. Anyways regardless of whether or not they are heavy throughout I would hardly categorize them as metal but the key word being "I". Genres are Italian. Strangeseas
My point is that the Germans are evil and that heavy metal is the devil's music. Good point though. Sometimes I practice profane rituals, when I listen to metal acts like Linkin Park and Unheilig. Anyways regardless of whether or not they are heavy throughout I would hardly categorize them as metal I agree with you. Genres are Italian. http://board.muse.mu/showpost.php?p=9926504&postcount=156 Shit.

Strangeseas
And thus your reply about songs with metal INFLUENCES is invalid. Okay. I just wanted to point out that Muse have some more metal-ish (=metal influences) songs without being metal songs. Furthermore I implied that genre talk is a bit petty.
