Burning_October
New Born is my favourite song on that list, but I don't really consider it "heavy". I'd put Micro Cuts and Hyper Music ahead of it in that respect.

Gohenko
Where the fuck is TSP and MK Ultra MK Ultra heavy? It's nowhere near heavy!
Hopix
MK Ultra heavy? It's nowhere near heavy! It is amongst 'heavy' Muse songs to me. Heaviness is partially subjective anyway. And 'Heaviness' can only be considered 'heavy' relative to something else.
Matt_fan
difficult decision for me: Newborn or Stockholm Syndrome. Picked SS.

Cirno
Damn, it was a tough choice choosing between New Born and Stockholm Syndrome, but I went with New Born.
abomufc108
Agitated > All. It's disgusting how such great songs like Agitated and Deadstar never made it into a real album while absolute shite like Guiding Light, Undisclosed desires, Feeling Good are on albums. Thinking of Deadstar, I really wish I could watch Muse playing this song live, it's on my 'things to-do before you die list' :'(
DwightKSchrute
Went for Assassin because it is the only song there that is really heavy. Hysteria is the best one though

Thinking of Deadstar, I really wish I could watch Muse playing this song live, it's on my 'things to-do before you die list' :'( I too dislike it when Muse put songs on albums when they could have instead put Agitated a song that was released by them over 10 years ago. kueller
I too dislike it when Muse put songs on albums when they could have instead put Agitated a song that was released by them over 10 years ago. I think he means put into an album in general. Like wishing Fury had been on Absolution.
Seaking
I think he means put into an album in general. Like wishing Fury had been on Absolution. I know what he meant but he gave UD as an examples. That part made no sense. Also, Dead Star was released as a single and had an EP named after it. So it's not like it was hidden by the band. hoodoo oz
Stockholm Syndrome closely followed by Assassin and Hysteria. In terms of intro the latter two are awesome. (especially Hysteria)
Hat
Why would anyone spell it "Deadstar"? But anyway, it's a goddamn single. Written after OoS, and released thereafter. Don't really see the problem.
Picko
I know this poll was done before The 2nd Law came out, but what songs would we be inclined to include in this list? I'd say that Supremacy, Survival, Animals, Liquid State and The 2nd Law: Unsustainable have the heavy elements in them. Maybe even Follow Me, or am I pushing my luck here? Hat
I definitely consider Follow Me heavy. Man, that chorus on a good sound system <
Jobby
Why would anyone spell it "Deadstar"? It's that whole 'joining two words together even though they're clearly two separate words' thing that people seem to like doing for songs from the OOS era. I've never understood it.
