bunerz
http://www.virtualfestivals.com/latest/news/9244/-/Muse-big-winners-at-European-Festival-Awards Muse have walked away with the Best Headliner award at the European Festival Awards 2010 tonight (Wednesday 13 January). To prove it, they've also taken the Festival Anthem of The Year gong for their single ‘Uprising’. A busy year for the Teignmouth trio has seen them top the bill at some of the world's biggest festivals, including Big Day Out, Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park, Rock Werchter, Roskilde, T In The Park, Oxegen, Fuji Rock and a triumphant set at Glastonbury, where they were joined onstage by U2's The Edge. Meanwhile, Florence and The Machine have won the Best Newcomer award. Having already scooped Anthem of the Year for ‘You've Got The Love’ at the UK Festival Awards, this year saw Florence captivate festival-goers the world over, taking in the likes of Coachella, Primavera, Pinkpop, Isle Of Wight, Glastonbury, and her first ever festival headline show at Latitude. Kayleigh
i saw them at the rock am ring festival in germany and...i know we all know that...they totally deserve those awards!!! it was an amazing performance and they even managed to convince the very strict german heavy metal fans (who basically came for rammstein)! in an interview matt said they'd been afraid of not being 'hard' enough...i can tell, if those fans are satisfied they ARE hard enough! and they were...considering the kick ass mosh pits
