US residents able to get 5.1 surround box set of Resistance but not anyone else?

Hey All,

 

I ordered 5 box sets with 5.1 surround DVD back in 2009 and I have been upset ever since I was charged by the Australian distributor, then later refunded after receiving and email saying the order had been dispatched.

 

When I called them, they advised they had run out of copies...even though I preorded.

 

Well what I am upset about other than that...is the 5.1 version is available to US residents and not the standard store over a year on.

 

What the hek? How do I get just one copy of this beast in Australia?

So you're saying the official Muse shop will not ship to AUS? If you can't find one on ebay, etc....is there anyone in the US/Canada that you know personally that can order if for you and then that friend can mail it to you?

Why does NA only get the surround sound? Probably a stupid record company/distributor thing... I highly doubt Muse said "let's give these fans who took for fucking ever to catch on the goods... we'll let our other, always loving fans get this other stuff"

If you want it badly enough, look into ordering it from the US site... or as someone else said, get a friend to order it for you and ship it too you.

If you're not obsessed about directly supporting the band (like me ), I'm sure it's on ebay... not sure if the price would be lower though.
